House Judiciary chairman Jerry Nadler was confronted by a small group of angry voters for leading the Democratic Party’s sham impeachment.

One voter warned Nadler that his shameless attempted coup will backfire on Democrats when President Trump wins the 2020 election in a landslide.

Trump supporter Ben Bergquam and several other protesters shouted at Nadler as he wormed his way to the elevator in a bid to make a quick getaway after yesterday’s impeachment debate.

“Shame on you, Chairman Nadler! Shame on you!” Bergquam yelled. “You’ve broken your oath! But keep doing it because the American people see through it. It’s going to work in President Trump’s favor. Keep it up!”

In the video, Nadler hangs his head down in shame while frantically trying to push the elevator button to close the door.

That’s when Ben Bergquam asserted: “Trump is your president! And he will be in 2020. Shame on your, sir! You will be exposed for your treason!”

He continued:  “Shame on you, sir! Trump 2020! Trump 2020! God Bless America!”

Bergquam posted a video of his confrontation on Twitter, where he wrote: “Keep it up Democrats, you’re only making America appreciate President Trump more!”

Jerry Nadler isn’t the only Democrat being confronted by angry voters who are furious that the Left is wasting time and taxpayer money to impeach a duly-elected president instead of fixing the nation’s problems.

Last weekend, Democratic Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger of Virginia was slammed by her own constituents for supporting impeachment at a fiery town hall meeting.

Constituents from Spanberger’s own district shouted, “Let our votes count! Don’t take them away!” and “Trump did nothing wrong!”

Another voter said instead of impeaching Trump, Congress should let Americans decide if he should be ousted. “Let’s put it to the voters next fall!” he said.

As BizPac Review reported, Democrats Karen Bass and Al Green have both stated that they want to impeach President Trump multiple times after he wins reelection.

Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz — a lifelong liberal who voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016 — warned that this will set a dangerous precedent that will blow up in the Democratic Party’s faces.

Dershowitz told Fox News host Laura Ingraham yesterday:  “This would be a terrible precedent. It would mean anytime there is a controversial president, he gets impeached. Thank goodness for hypocrisy! Because the next time the Democrats get a president, there may be efforts to impeach. But people will change their views because nobody passes that shoe-on-the-other-foot test.”

Dershowitz continued:  “The Constitution set out one set of criteria for impeachment. They have to be applied equally no matter who is in office. [Alexander] Hamilton was so worried about partisan impeachment, where impeachment turns on the number of voters you have rather than the guilt or innocence of the person being impeached.”
