Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (a.k.a. – “Bronx Bolshevik”) compared human babies to dogs born in litters for sale by animal breeders while making the case for paid family leave.
Ocasio-Cortez lamented that the United States is one of two industrial countries in the world that does not provide any federal paid leave. AOC made the remarks Monday during a House Oversight and Reform Committee hearing on paid family leave.
Ocasio-Cortez said U.S. companies that do offer paid family leave usually allow only six to eight weeks. AOC said that’s less time than dog breeders give newborn puppies before they’re sold off.
“Do we know how long puppies are allowed to stay with their mothers after a dog has given birth? Eight weeks,” AOC said. “So the market has decided that women and people who give birth deserve less time with their children than a dog.”
She continued: “The market has failed to treat people with dignity and basic respect. When that happens, I think it’s our job as the public to redefine the rules of society and to treat people who give birth with the dignity they deserve.”

AOC made the remarks while arguing with Heritage Foundation scholar Rachel Greszler, a mom of six who advocates that businesses and workers negotiate their own terms for wages and paid leave.
Ocasio-Cortez has no children but thinks she’s in a position to lecture a mom of six.
Hey AOC, when trying to make federal policy on complex issues, it's probably best not to compare people to dogs.

In a statement to Fox News, Rachel Greszler said she’s deeply offended by Ocasio-Cortez’ cavalier comparison of human babies to dog litters.
“As a woman who has given birth to six children, I find being compared to a breeding dog with puppies incredibly offensive,” Greszler said. “What AOC failed to point out is the reason many states require puppies to spend at least eight weeks with their mothers is in the context of them being sold to people after that period.”
AOC followed up with a tweet: “Puppies aren’t separated from their moms until 8 weeks. Less than that is thought of as harmful or abusive. One of the most common lengths of US paid family leave is 6 weeks. So yes, when we ‘let the market decide’ on parental leave, ‘the market’ treats people worse than dogs.”

It’s ironic that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — who supports late-stage abortion of unborn babies — is making the case that separating babies from their mothers is cruel.
Extended paid family leave is a fantastic idea, but you can’t advocate for mass illegal immigration the way AOC does and simultaneously push for paid family leave.
There’s only so much of OPM (other people’s money) to go around. It’s better to prioritize paid family leave for Americans instead of advocating for free everything for illegals.
Moreover, if AOC really cared about children, she’d pay more attention to the rat- and maggot-infested kids’ summer camps in New York City’s Democratic districts.

Lynne Patton, a HUD administrator, slammed Democrats like AOC, who’s so busy promoting herself and her socialist agenda to benefit illegal aliens that she ignores her own constituents.
“I am in Ocasio-Cortez’s district more than she is,” Patton said. “She’s more concerned about conditions on the border than conditions in her own backyard.”
Patton continued: “I had to shut down a children’s day camp because dead rats were falling through the ceiling and hitting the ground and falling on children’s desks so infested with maggots that they broke apart when they hit the ground — causing staffers to throw up. That’s what’s happening in New York City.”
