CNN’s Don Lemon has elitist hissy fit over doctored meme Trump 2020 shared: ‘Are you people insane?’

CNN anchor Don Lemon threw a hissy fit on-air Tuesday because President Trump’s campaign is not taking seriously the Democratic Party’s “sham impeachment.”

The source of his ire was a doctored video posted online by a Twitter account managed by the Trump 2020 campaign.

The video depicts Trump’s head on the body of the Marvel supervillain Thanos. The Trump-Thanos figure declares, “I am inevitable,” before snapping his fingers to wipe out Democratic House leadership at a press conference — this being when two articles of impeachment were introduced against the president, alleging abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

Trump War Room tweeted: “House Democrats can push their sham impeachment all they want. President Trump’s re-election is inevitable.”

After playing the video, a sour Lemon stared silently into the screen momentarily.

“What are we, in junior high school? Like what the hell? What is this?” Lemon asked. “Like what — What?! I cannot believe that I’m even having to report this on the news. This is — this is crazy. This is literally crazy. Are you people insane? Are you insane?”

This assessment coming from the man who drunkenly did shots of tequila on live television on New Year’s Eve while getting his ear pierced.

“Go ahead, troll the Democrats on Twitter. Do this stupid, silly you-know-what. Play this stupid, juvenile meme game,” Lemon continued. “History won’t record this meme stupid crap, but history will record this. The seriousness of what is happening, that today is the day that the House of Representatives in the United States of America introduced articles of impeachment against President Donald J. Trump, the President of the United States of America, for committing high crimes and misdemeanors. A big deal.”

A big deal, perhaps, on a network that all but dedicated 24-7 coverage to arrive at the day where Democrats conclude their partisan kangaroo court by filing impeachment articles.

But for the Trump campaign, they apparently know a “sham” when they see one and are confident that not only will the GOP-led U.S. Senate exonerate the president, but that the American people will see the entire campaign for what it is.

In the end, the American voters will have the final say in the 2020 election, as well they should.

Jim Starlin, who created Thanos, took to Instagram on Tuesday to prove that he’s a dues-paying member of the Trump Derangement Syndrome cabal.

“After my initial feeling of being violated, seeing that pompous dang fool using my creation to stroke his infantile ego, it finally struck me that the leader of my country and the free world actually enjoys comparing himself to a mass murderer. How sick is that?” Starlin said in the post.

“These are sad and strange times we are going through. Fortunately all things, even national nightmares, eventually come to an end,” he added.

The anti-Trump media cabal followed Starlin’s lead, proving that they have no real sense of humor by commenting on the overall plot of the movie.
