We wouldn’t have had it any other way than for ingrate-in-chief Colin Kaepernick to spend his holiday on Thursday at an “Un-Thanksgiving Day,” criticizing the United States government.

The original national anthem kneeler and one-time NFL quarterback spoke at a gathering on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco that was also called the “Indigenous People’s Sunrise Ceremony.” This year’s event marked the 50-year anniversary of Native Americans occupying Alcatraz, the former site of a federal prison.

Kaepernick tweeted a video promoting the event and comments he made there, taking the obligatory shot at the United States government and American history: “Spent the morning at the Indigenous People’s Sunrise Ceremony on the 50 year anniversary of the Occupation of Alcatraz. The US government has stolen over 1.5 billion acres of land from Indigenous people. Thank you to my Indigenous family, I’m with you today and always.”

The aggrieved social injustice warrior for some reason could not find work in the league after his sanctimonious protest movement against the flag and law enforcement took a major bite out of the fan base and profitability of the NFL — the world’s most successful professional sports league. He filed a lawsuit against the league for allegedly being blackballed, and then settled for untold millions earlier this year.

Kaepernick also attended the Un-Thanksgiving event in 2017.

“It’s been 50 years since the occupation,” the oppressed multimillionaire said at this year’s gathering. “And that struggle has continued for that 50 years … It’s our responsibility to honor our ancestors and honor our elders by carrying on that struggle. Don’t let their sacrifices be in vain. That’s why it’s important for all of us to be here today — to show that we’re together, that we’re unified, that we have that solidarity. And I hope to spend many more of these with you.”

On the holiday that a vast majority of Americans count their blessings, Kaepernick also retweeted an article by The Washington Post that claimed Thanksgiving was racist.

Kaepernick was not the only millionaire SJW at the event. Actor and leftist Danny Glover was seen and photographed there too …

Meanwhile, true warrior spirits around the world are striving for their freedom and liberty and looking to the United States for inspiration and support …
