On Saturday, Robert James Richie, better known as Kid Rock, took to Twitter to explain his seemingly inexplicable and unprompted rant against Oprah Winfrey that quickly went viral.
BizPac Review reported on Friday that Rock went on an alcohol-fueled, profanity-laced rant against liberalism, Winfrey, Joy Behar, and Kathy Lee Gifford while at his bar in Nashville. During his expletive-riddled performance, Richie said things such as: “Oprah Winfrey is like, ‘Hey, I just want women to believe in this s***’. F*** her,” and “She can suck my d*** sideways. And if you say that people say, ‘Hey, I’m pretty sure Kid Rock’s a racist.’ I’m like, ‘OK fine.’ F*** off.”
“My people tried to get me to do The Oprah Winfrey show years ago and her people wanted me to write down 5 reasons why I loved her and her show,” he tweeted. “I said f*** that and her. End of story.”
My people tried to get me to do The Oprah Winfrey show years ago and her people wanted me to write down 5 reasons why I loved her and her show…?️? I said fuck that and her. End of story.

Left unexplained were lines like this:
“F*** Oprah Winfrey. F*** Kathie Gifford…”
“I’m the guy you want like, ‘Hey, I want Kid Rock on my side.’ I’m not the bad guy. I’m the guy you want, like, ‘Hey he’s pretty cool.'”
As can be seen in the video below, he had taken to a microphone and trashed the women while holding a drink. The person who filmed the verbal rampage kept repeating that Rock is a “racist” for his views on Oprah, but during the video, he can be seen insisting that he isn’t.
Watch:
Nearing the end of his rant, he explained to the unamused audience that “I’m not a bad guy, I’m just an honest guy.”
“He’s racist. Look at him he’s blacked out drunk as f***,” one bar-goer could be heard saying during his rant. Others booed.
It would seem people on Twitter are equally as disturbed by his intoxicated musings as many patrons were that day.
You are a sad pathetic man.

Despite it all, however, Kid Rock still had some support. Many people even began questioning Oprah’s connection to Harvey Weinstein in the comments of his tweet.
Just proves she is full of herself, and needs “YES” people to surround her and feed her ego. I am not a member of the church of Oprah.

Yeah why didn’t she interview Weinstein, but she had the nerve to dig up Michael Jackson’s past from the graveyard….m
