Former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Alexis Bellino has earned scorn from social media users for an Instagram post criticizing her maids for being “lazy.”

“When your couch accidentally disconnects and you realize your maids aren’t doing deep cleaning. Found 2 socks too,” Bellino wrote. The statement was the caption of a picture of Bellino’s leather couch pulled apart and toys, a mechanical pencil and cut-up paper on the floor. She added a crying emoji, facepalm emoji and thinking emoji to her post.

The post has earned her plenty of heat on social media. Some have called out the reality television star for posting such a photo and caption the day after Thanksgiving, while others have balked at the public display of privilege.

“Why would you post this? So much for being thankful huh? This makes you even more unlikable…,” one Instagram user commented.

“Lol the maids.. move the couch yourself and clean once in a while,” said another.

“I usually never comment and am not trying to be snarky but the way you said ‘maids’ was really tacky. I have cleaning people myself and I don’t expect them to routinely move furniture,” another wrote.

“Stop being lazy and crying about your 1st world problems. Clean it yourself,” another said.

Yet another commented, “Push that broom girl. A little housework builds character lol.”

Though her comment and picture earned widespread criticism, there were some who backed Bellino, 42, up and supported her for publicly calling out her employees for not doing a good enough job.

“If you are paying someone for a service, that’s unacceptable,” one commenter said.

“Good grief people stop being so pessimistic and look at the good: she is able to have maids, her kids are fed, and her house looks like all the rest of us. She is just being real,” said another. “Is it really necessary to be so mean on the day after we were just supposed to be thankful? Perspective people. Now everyone go eat your leftovers and have a great Friday! Blessings.”

A previous post from Bellino showed a number of young girls sleeping over at her house on the exact same couch where the mess was, which would explain the lack of tidiness the day after.

Complaining seems to be a regular feature to Bellino’s Instagram as her next post after the “lazy maids” one was of her Black Friday shopping with her kids and she says it’s the last time she ever goes out on Black Friday as it took too long to park and to get to the valet.

On top of previously starring in “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Bellino now appears on “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.” Other celebrities appearing on the latest season of that show also include Aaron Carter and Corey Feldman.
