Adam Schiff — the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee — delivered an over-the-top, theatrical closing statement on Day 5 of the impeachment hearings, fueling comical Twitter smackdowns and a hilarious T-shirt.
Naturally, the Trump campaign trolled Schiff and fundraised off his melodramatic rant by selling “Bull-Schiff” shirts.
Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale tweeted: “Adam Schiff is running the Democrat sham impeachment but now it’s time you got your say! Get your 100% cotton, American-made t-short today and show your support for Donald Trump!”
The shirts spotlight Schiff’s skinny neck, an homage to President Trump’s “pencil neck” jabs.

During his bumbling closing speech, Adam Schiff — who’s apparently an aspiring screenwriter — claimed that President Trump’s alleged offenses are more serious than those committed by Richard Nixon during the Watergate scandal.
“What we’ve seen here is far more serious than a third-rate burglary of the Democratic headquarters,” Schiff said “What we’re talking about here is the withholding of recognition in that White House meeting. The withholding of military aid to an ally at war. That is beyond anything Nixon did.”
For the record, no military aid was withheld from Ukraine. Moreover, Ukraine never launched an investigation into Joe Biden’s abuse of power when he was vice president. So where exactly is the quid pro quo (“something-for-something”)?
In fact, President Trump gave far more financial and military aid to Ukraine than Barack Obama ever did.

Schiff continued: “There is nothing more dangerous than an unethical president who believes they are above the law. And I would just say to people watching at home and around the world: We are better than that.”
The California Democrat then dramatically slammed his gavel down to close this week’s hearings.
Schiff’s theater extravaganza inspired numerous Twitter clapbacks, ridiculing him for his stagy performance.
Fox News analyst Brit Hume quipped: “From the tone of Schiff’s histrionic closing statement, it seemed he knows they didn’t work.”

Bestselling author and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino remarked: “It’s difficult not to laugh watching sleazy Adam Schiff try to muster up some fake emotion to sell Americans his line of b*llsh*t during his daily closing-statement story time.”

Former CIA analyst Fred Fleitz quipped: “Wow. Adam Schiff is losing it in his closing statement to this hearing. Quite a contrast to Devin Nunes’ disciplined statement on why the impeachment process is a circus. It’s clear Nunes, John Ratcliffe , Jim Jordan, and Elise Stefanik got under his skin.”
Fred Fleitz worked for 25 years at the CIA, the Department of State, and on the staff of the House Intelligence Committee, so he has some experience assessing these matters.

Republican Congressman Andy Biggs said as usual, Schiff is mischaracterizing the GOP’s stance on Russia interference with the 2016 election.
Biggs tweeted: “Adam Schiff can’t help but to mislead Americans yet again in his closing statement for today’s impeachment hearing. Republicans DO NOT believe that Russia did not interfere with the 2016 election. We DO believe that Donald Trump did not collude with Russian interference.”

Reminder: The Democrats and their left-wing media minions have been screeching about impeachment for the past three years. This was the plan all along.
