President Donald Trump torched Fox News opinion host Chris Wallace as “nasty and obnoxious” for browbeating and arguing with his guest, Republican Congressman Steve Scalise.
Trump tweeted: “Steve Scalise blew the nasty & obnoxious Chris Wallace (will never be his father, Mike!) away on Chris’s lowest-rated (unless I’m on) morning show. This kind of dumb and unfair interview would never have happened in the Fox News past.”

President Trump was referring to the interview Wallace did with Scalise yesterday (Nov. 17), where he repeated Democrat talking points by claiming that the thirdhand hearsay testimony of Ambassador Bill Taylor can be used to impeach Trump.
Chris Wallace’s virulent defense of the Democrat Party isn’t surprising since he is a registered Democrat.
After accusing Congressman Scalise of “very badly mischaracterizing” Taylor’s testimony, Wallace defended the impeachment inquiry — which deprives the accused (Trump) of due process rights and doesn’t allow him to call witnesses of his choosing or have his lawyer cross-examine his accusers.
Moreover, the impeachment inquiry is not even really legitimate because the House of Representatives has not passed articles of impeachment. The hearings are a fishing expedition for Democrats to find “evidence” to impeach Trump with.

This kind of one-sided Kangaroo Court caused Republican Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner to say that Adam Schiff — the chair of the House Intelligence Committee — is conducting a bogus, Stalinesque impeachment that gives Trump fewer rights than accused serial killers and rapists.
“Adam Schiff has completely ignored any sense of fair play,” Sensenbrenner said. “He has not allowed the president to defend himself or even call witnesses. People who are accused of serial murder or serial rape [have] more rights than the president of the United States does!”
Meanwhile, this is how many Americans think of the sham impeachment inquiry:
This isn’t at a Trump rally…
It’s at a football game

This is not the first time that Chris Wallace has openly sided with Democrats to undermine President Trump’s Constitutionally-mandated authority as commander-in-chief.
After Wallace falsely claimed that President Trump did not have the authority to declare a national emergency to build a border wall, radio host Rush Limbaugh schooled Wallace. All U.S. presidents in the modern era have declared national emergencies at some point in their tenures.
Chris Wallace gets schooled when he tries to browbeat Rush like others in an interview everyone needs to hear https://t.co/bJAuZHpMz5

In fact, the United States is currently in the middle of 31 national emergencies ― 12 of which were issued by Barack Obama.
Limbaugh also blasted high-level Obama holdovers of the “Deep State” for trying to stage a coup against a duly-elected president.
“These people are unelected. They took it upon themselves to overthrow the election results in 2016, ignoring the potential real collusion and conspiracy between Democrats and Russians to undermine the Trump candidacy and the Trump presidency.”
Limbaugh said people like former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, former deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and former FBI director James Comey should be prosecuted for trying to subvert the will of American voters by trying to overthrow President Trump.
People unelected — simply because they don’t like a guy’s hairstyle or like where he came from — decide the American people’s decision was invalid, and began a systematic process to get him thrown out of office. This is a silent coup.”
