After seven hours of torturous, evasive maneuvering and political gamesmanship by House Democrats, Republican Rep. Chris Stewart wrangled the bottom-line truth out of former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch within just 30 seconds, posing two direct questions to her.
Her answers plainly showed that there is no case against President Trump and that the Dems are wasting an immense amount of time and money on a transparently bogus charade with their impeachment inquiry.
Watch the succinct exchange that, by all rights, ought to cement public opinion against the subversive leftist plot to overthrow a duly elected president of the United States:

Following the televised segment of Stewart’s questioning of the ambassador in the impeachment inquiry hearing, the White House tweeted out a scathing rebuke to the Dems regarding their self-centered, deceitfulness that is stealing away time that is needed to serve Americans via legitimate legislative work.
“In 30 seconds, @RepChrisStewart got the answers that House Democrats have spent 7 hours trying to avoid. 7 hours that Congress could’ve spent working for you—on drug price legislation, USMCA, immigration reform, or infrastructure—instead of for their own political careers,” the tweet read.

The dramatic highlight of the day began with Stewart saying: “I would now feel compelled to ask you, Madam Ambassador, as you sit here before us, very simply and directly, do you have any information regarding the president of the United States accepting any bribes?”
“No,” said Yovanovitch.
“Do you have any information regarding any criminal activity that the president of the United States has been involved with at all?” he asked.
“No,” she admitted.
Stewart thanked the ambassador “for answering that directly.”
“The American people know this is nonsense,” Stewart said. “The American people know this is unfair,” Stewart said.
Following the hearing, White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham wrote in a statement: “Zero evidence of wrongdoing by the President was presented. In fact, Ambassador Yovanovitch testified under oath that she was unaware of any criminal activity involving President Trump.”
“It is difficult to imagine a greater waste of time than today’s hearing, and yet unfortunately we expect more of the same partisan political theater next week from House Democrats,” Grisham also wrote.
Among many Republicans following up on the admission by Yovanovitch that she is aware of no crime by President Trump, Rep. Mark Meadows weighed in, pointing out once again that, “They have no case. This is not serious.”

At the end of the day, Rep. Stewart told the Salt Lake Tribune that Americans will see for themselves that the truth is on the side of the president and that his support will grow as a result. “The American people are going to be able to see the evidence and they’re going to be able to make their own determination regarding that,” he said.
