New Yorkers united in their disgust for communist NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio as he marched in the 100th annual Veterans Day Parade yesterday (Nov. 11).
Attendees booed and mocked de Blasio by calling him “Comrade de Blasio” and telling him to go home.
“He is a moron and doesn’t represent the heart of New York! He is a poor excuse of a leader and a man,” Cathy Lesser told the New York Post. “He should step down and allow someone with integrity and honor to lead the city.”
Lesser said she booed de Blasio “as loudly as I could” when he walked by.
One man wearing an American flag sweatshirt and a Donald Trump mask jeered at de Blasio during the parade. (**warning: profanity**)
In September 2019, Bill de Blasio ended his disastrous presidential campaign after his poll numbers remained stuck at zero.
In addition to being highly unpopular at home in New York, de Blasio failed to connect with Iowa voters when he campaigned there over the summer.
Specifically, Iowa Democrats were annoyed by the self-flagellating white leftist’s war on white people, because that’s not a pressing issue for them. Or most Americans, for that matter.
“[‘Toxic whiteness’] is not an issue on anybody’s radar here,” said Greg Guelcher, vice-chair of the Woodbury County Democratic Club in Sioux City.
Guelcher added: “For Iowans, if you brought up the term ‘toxic whiteness,’ people would just go, ‘Huh?’ And even after you explained it, they’d still be kind of confused. We’re not New York City, the ‘multicultural paradise.’ That’s great but it ain’t Iowa.”
The fact that Bill de Blasio screeched about “toxic whiteness” in Iowa shows just how out-of-touch he and his far-left comrades are with mainstream America.
Most Americans are not radicals on the far-left or the far-right. They’re centrists who care about their families, their jobs, the economy, and national security. They don’t care about esoteric issues that the leftist media constantly screech about.
In May 2019, NYC’s Department of Education Chancellor Richard Carranza launched a crusade to wipe out the nonexistent “white-supremacy culture” in New York City public schools.
In response, Mayor de Blasio tweeted his support for this ridiculous campaign: “DOE Chancellor Carranza has dedicated his entire career to fighting structural racism and giving every kid a fair shot.”
Anyone who has ever attended a New York City public school will tell you that the school system is one the most left-wing, anti-white school systems in the United States. Its summer reading lists are bloated with leftist propaganda.
For the record, de Blasio (whom New Yorkers derisively call “de Bozo”) is one of the most unpopular mayors in NYC history.
While de Blasio has paid lip service to championing minorities and the poor, in reality, he’s a self-serving hypocrite whose failed tenure has caused a massive spike in homelessness across the city.
Thanks to de Blasio, homelessness has skyrocketed — across all races. Why? Because Bill is an equal-opportunity pinhead.
Moreover, New Yorkers will tell you that under de Blasio, violent crimes have spiked and the streets are dirtier than they’ve been for decades.
In July 2017, Mayor de Blasio had homeless people kicked off the subways so he could stage a “clean” photo-op for his re-election campaign.
Not surprisingly, Bill de Blasio has one of the lowest approval ratings of any mayor in New York City history.
