A Florida woman who’s eight-months pregnant used an AR-15 rifle to defend her 11-year-old daughter and injured husband during a violent home invasion last week. At the time, her husband, Jeremy King, was being pistol-whipped and kicked in the head by two masked burglars.

“As soon as they got the back door open, they had a pistol on me and was grabbing my 11-year-old daughter,” King told Bay News 9. “I’m telling them, ‘I have nothing for you.’ And they’re like, ‘Give me everything you got!’ It became real violent, real fast.”

The armed burglars, who wore masks and hoods, pistol-whipped and repeatedly kicked Jeremy King in the head. The commotion alarmed King’s wife, who was in the back bedroom. One of the burglars saw her and shot at her.

That’s when Jeremy’s wife — who’s eight-months pregnant — ran into a back room, grabbed an AR-15 rifle, and stormed into the living room like Arnold Schwarzenegger from “The Terminator.”

She promptly shot one of the intruders. The man fled but was later found dead in a nearby ditch.

The other robber ran off and remains at large. Neither burglar has yet been identified by police.

“Them guys came in with two normal pistols and my AR stopped it,” King said. “[My wife] evened the playing field and kept them from killing me.”

Jeremy suffered a concussion, a fractured eye socket and a fractured sinus cavity. He required 20 stitches and three staples in his head, but is recovering. He says his wife’s quick thinking and their legal firearm kept his family alive.

While Democrats want to confiscate guns from legal firearm owners, there are numerous instances where a “good guy with a gun” stopped an armed criminal from killing innocent people.

In August, Missouri resident Julie Belew praised a Good Samaritan former firefighter who apprehended Dmitriy Nickolayvich Andreychenko, the suspect in the botched Missouri Walmart shooting.

Belew said the former fireman — who chose to remain anonymous — probably prevented the murders of countless people.

“I was comforted knowing that there were people around me just ready to disarm him and do what needed to be done,” Belew said. “He made me feel like he was protecting me.”

Similarly, an El Paso shooting survivor told CNN in August that he wished his “gun-toting” mother had brought her gun with her during their trip to the El Paso Walmart — the site of another mass shooting.

In 2017, a hero security guard shot a serial robber dead after he charged into an Illinois bank branch.

Security footage caught the harrowing incident on video (see below), where the robber barged into the bank wearing a ski mask while brandishing a gun.

Security guard Brian Harrison whipped out his gun and shot the robber dead when he saw the perpetrator was waving a gun around.

The attempted robbery occurred while three bank employees were on duty. No one was hurt during the terrifying incident.
