Donald Trump Jr. says that Twitter and Instagram are shadow banning him. The NY Post reported that in his new book due out on Tuesday, Don Jr. writes: “With every day that goes by, Twitter and Instagram are removing more and more of my posts from people’s timeline. People who have liked or shared my posts have been reporting sudden problems with their accounts or temporary lockouts from their devices.”

Don Jr. included a message he received from one social media user that read: “I had to follow you three times this week, and I didn’t unfollow you.”

“How much can we suppress someone’s voice and prevent their message from taking hold? If they do it to me — someone who’s pretty vocal, with millions of followers — who [else are] they doing it to?” he asked in an interview with the Post.

The new book is entitled, “Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us.”

The publisher describes the book as one that “the leftist elitists don’t want you to read!” Say no more … “Triggered” is destined for the very top of the sales chart.

The rest of the listing reads:

This is the book that the leftist elites don’t want you to read — Donald Trump, Jr., exposes all the tricks that the left uses to smear conservatives and push them out of the public square, from online “shadow banning” to rampant “political correctness.”
In Triggered, Donald Trump, Jr. will expose all the tricks that the left uses to smear conservatives and push them out of the public square, from online “shadow banning” to fake accusations of “hate speech.” No topic is spared from political correctness. This is the book that the leftist elites don’t want you to read!
Trump, Jr. will write about the importance of fighting back and standing up for what you believe in. From his childhood summers in Communist Czechoslovakia that began his political thought process, to working on construction sites with his father, to the major achievements of President Trump’s administration, Donald Trump, Jr. spares no details and delivers a book that focuses on success and perseverance, and proves offense is the best defense.

In his Post interview, Don Jr. revealed that he receives the second highest number of death threats in the United States, behind only his father.

“It’s not surprising,” he said of the death threats, revealing people on his Secret Service detail told him about the ongoing risks he and his family face. “I assume [the hate is] because I’m willing to be vocal. I’m not too shy to say Donald Trump has shown conservatives that it’s OK to fight.

“I have the gall to call out the bulls*** and stand up to the establishment,” he said.

Like his dad, Don Jr. is loud and proud, but he does worry about his five kids, ranging in ages from 7 to 12, who live with his ex-wife Vanessa. He recalled how people in Manhattan profanely berated him on election day in 2016 in front of them. “You know, tolerant liberals screaming and cursing at me while I had four of my children in tow,” Trump Jr. wrote in the book.

On the other hand, it is not always threatening in New York City. He told the Post:

Last Valentine’s Day, Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, former Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle, dined at Nello — and he braced himself for liberal backlash. An older woman started screaming, but not what the diatribe he expected. Instead, he writes, she yelled out: “You have the biggest balls in the world, and you don’t take crap from anyone. Keep it up!”

“The whole restaurant erupted in applause,” he told The Post. “They shook my hand and took selfies.”

Last week, Don Jr. appeared with Lou Dobbs and, among other topics, talked about “Triggered.”

“The last thing he [his dad] said to me going down in the elevator before he made his announcement on June 16, 2015, was, ‘now we find out who our real friends are.’ Which was an important statement because it shows he did this knowing that all these people he had known for years would turn on him in a second,” said Don Jr. “Because there’s consequences to being a conservative. There’s consequences to being a vocal conservative. And there’s a lot more consequence to being a vocal Trump-supporting conservative because that movement, the Trump side of the movement of the conservative party, is the side that calls out the nonsense.”

“It doesn’t just turn the other cheek and take defeat because the other side wants you to lose, but actually fights back,” he continued. “And that’s a real important thing for conservatives to learn.”

Dobbs told Don Jr. that he once said to his father as president, “I don’t know how in the world any other man could have stood or woman in your place with this assault with 360 degrees of attack constantly. And stood up, and not only stood up but persevered …”

“That’s the reality,” Don Jr. agreed. “If you look at his accomplishments and you can list them out … all-time low unemployment, 6.3 million people. But accomplishment after accomplishment. But then you take the notion that he did all of that despite unprecedented — that’s not hyperbole. That’s not an exaggeration. No president has taken the amount of incoming that my father has taken. And he is still getting it done.

“Imagine what he could accomplish with a little assistance from the left. Work on infrastructure reform. And get USMCA off of Nancy Pelosi’s desk. Do something for the American worker … after the disaster we have seen with NAFTA.”
