Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney blasted Americans who dared to question the motives of anti-Trump impeachment witness Alexander Vindman.
“I also want to say a word about something else that’s been going on over the last couple of hours, and last night, which I think is also shameful,” Cheney said at a press conference yesterday (Oct. 29).
“Questioning the patriotism — questioning the dedication to country — of people like Lieutenant Colonel Vindman and others who have testified [is shameful].”

Vindman, a U.S. Army officer, has accused President Trump of pressuring Ukraine’s president to investigate Democrat Joe Biden.
Both the Ukrainian president and Ukraine’s foreign minister flatly denied these accusations, saying Trump made no such demand.
When Trump and his supporters expressed skepticism of Vindman’s testimony (which the public has been unable to hear due to the Democrats’ secret impeachment hearings), Cheney and leftists got outraged.
First of all, this is the United States. Americans are allowed — even encouraged — to express skepticism of political operatives.
People are merely wondering whether Vindman’s actions are politically motivated. That’s a fair question in light of today’s highly partisan political climate.
Keep in mind also that the same leftists who are virulently defending Vindman because he’s a decorated military veteran are accusing Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of being a Russian asset.
Gabbard is a decorated Army veteran who served two tours of duty in the Middle East. She continues to serve as a major in the U.S. Army National Guard.

But Hillary Clinton and the Left claim that Gabbard is a secret Russian asset who’s trying to help President Trump get re-elected even though she’s running for president herself.
Moreover, the same leftists who say Trump supporters are not allowed to be skeptical of Vindman because he’s a “decorated soldier” have trashed retired Army Lieutenant General Michael Flynn as a traitor.
Michael Flynn served in the U.S. military with distinction for 33 years and earned more military awards than Alexander Vindman. But now his life is ruined because of unsubstantiated left-wing smears.

Republican Senator Mitt Romney said merely questioning Vindman’s motives is “absurd, disgusting and way off the mark.”
Romney fumed: “This is a decorated American soldier and he should be given the respect that his service to our country demands.”
Reminder: Romney and other Never-Trumpers have repeatedly claimed that the sitting U.S. president is a Russian asset who has betrayed the Constitution and the American people.
But we’re not allowed to be skeptical of impeachment witness Alexander Vindman. Why? Because his testimony supports the unilateral impeachment efforts of Never-Trumper RINOs and the Democratic Party.
Reminder: Ukrainian officials sought advice from Vindman on how to lobby Trump to push pro-Ukraine policies.
Former U.S. Attorney John Yoo — a law professor at UC Berkeley — called the arrangement odd. “I find that astounding,” Yoo remarked. “Some people might call that espionage.”

Hey Adam Schiff, take that!
I just filed an ethics complaint against @RepAdamSchiff over his handling of the impeachment inquiry into President Trump.
Schiff has lied to the American people and abused his power.
