Teen girl hailed ‘hero’ after allegedly punching Fla. family man dressed as Trump at Halloween event

A 14-year-old Florida girl who’s reportedly been charged with misdemeanor battery for walking up to a man dressed as President Donald Trump for Halloween and punching him is now being heralded as a “hero” by some members of the increasingly radical left.

“A 14-year-old girl walked up to a man dressed as President Donald Trump as he stood in line at the Collier County fairgrounds in Naples, Florida, and allegedly punched him while her friends recorded it,” the Naples Daily News reported Monday.

“An incident report indicates that the man and his family were in line to go into a haunted house exhibit when the girl walked over to him and punched him in the jaw. The man said the girl laughed and ran back to her place in line with about four other juveniles.”

The stunning attack occurred Saturday during the county’s annual Naples Haunted Gross House exhibit.

As the story slowly began to go viral across the Internet, members of America’s increasingly unhinged, pro-harassment, pro-vandalism and pro-violence left started lauding the underage perpetrator with praise and mocking the victim.

Observe:

Notice the abundance of grown adults offering to pay her legal fees. Take note also of the callous lack of concern for the man and his family.

While frightening, such an appalling, inhumane attitude appears to be becoming the norm in America, thanks to the pernicious normalization of hatred against the president.

Earlier this very week, virulently anti-Trump gangster rapper YG made headlines after he tried to force a fan into exclaiming, “F–k Donald Trump” at a concert. After the fan refused, YG kicked the fan out of the concert.

Late last week, a left-wing radical at a bar in Florida’s Vero Beach approached a MAGA-hat-wearing Trump supporter, told him to “go back to Russia” and spit on him.

And about three weeks ago at a Trump rally in Minneapolis, a left-wing radical spit on one attendee as the man, Trump supporter David Carlson, was speaking on camera with a Vice News contributor.

During the same event, a woman was sucker-punched by yet another left-wing radical.

What has been the response from the left-wing media? To either downplay or outright ignore these otherwise stunning attacks, as noted by Treasure Coast Newspapers columnist Gil Smart in a piece he published last spring.

“They’re far more likely to be treated as local stories,” he wrote of stories involving violence against Trump supporters. “They’re likely picked up by Fox News and other conservative outlets, but I don’t see major outlets picking up these stories with the same enthusiasm as the BBC cameraman attack.”

“The narrative is reinforced: It’s Trump’s supporters who are violent. And some are. But when [Trump supporters are attacked], it’s brushed off. It’s just some hothead; it’s not emblematic of anything.”

So what happens when the media ignore violence motivated by a hatred of Trump and amplify violence motivated by support for the president? People come to believe Trump supporters are evil people who DESERVE to be treated like garbage:

Are the people above representative of all left-wingers? No. But there are enough of them — and enough of them are causing real-life damage — that’s it’s troubling nonetheless.
