Dem ‘talking points’ and parroting media minions raise eyebrows

Two pieces of evidence that emerged this week seem to boost the argument that the bulk of the mainstream media is nothing but an arm of the Democrat Party.

The first piece of evidence is an unusual tweet by Jacqueline Alemany, a “journalist” with The Washington Post. Early Tuesday evening, she tweeted photos of impeachment-related “talking points” that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had prepared for her caucus.

A number of questions immediately spring to mind. Why did she, a “journalist,” have access to the talking points? Were the talking points distributed to other “journalists” as well? And why did the talking points mirror the media’s rhetoric to a T? In fact, why do the Democrats’ talking points always mirror the media’s rhetoric to a T?

As seen above, there seems to be an eerie similarity between the rhetoric of congressional Democrats and the so-called “journalists” in the mainstream media.

But it reportedly gets “worse.”

“On October 3, New York Times columnist Frank Bruni and Politico chief political correspondent Tim Alberta both recited language from a DNC press release, verbatim,” NewsBusters, the Media Research Center-owned site responsible for the video compilation above, noted in a report published Thursday.

“Bruni (on CNN Newsroom) and Alberta (on MSNBC’s The 11th Hour) each asserted that Vice President Pence’s professed ignorance about the President’s talks with Ukraine did not ‘pass the smell test,’ — only a day after the DNC published a press release titled, ‘Pence is an Accomplice to Trump’s Abuse of Power and his Denials Don’t Pass the Smell Test.'”

“Journalists” with virtually every mainstream media outlet have displayed this tendency of repeating what appear to be talking points plucked straight from the Democrat Party.

“[O]n almost every issue, no matter what media — the New York Times, Washington Post, CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, CNN, MSNBC — every one of these people ends up using the identical talking point or the identical phrase,” conservative radio show host Rush Limbaugh pointed out during a monologue earlier this year.

“And then Democrat politicians will get the same talking points and journalists will go talk to them, and the media and what the journalists are saying and the politicians are saying, will be indistinguishable,” he added later in the program. “It will be identical — and it just still amazes me! The quest for, rather than the resistance to uniformity. Why does Chuck Todd want to sound just like Jake Tapper, or why does Jake Tapper want to sound just like Wolf Blitzer?”

Why indeed.

Couple these findings and observations with Alemany’s bizarre tweet and things start to look suspicious to some. What’s unclear and cannot be proven either way is whether the rhetoric between Democrats and the media is so similar because the media have been receiving talking points from the Dems, or because the media are themselves, Democrats.

The top two most notable examples of this inexplicable rhetorical homogeneity are the since-debunked Russian collusion delusion conspiracy theory, which the Democrats and the media repeated ad nauseam for over two years s`traight, and the current impeachment push.

The media have been just as relentless as the Democrats in pushing for the president’s impeachment. And according to a shocking report published by investigative reporter Paul Sperry late last spring, this may not be coincidental.

Key Democratic operatives and private investigators who tried to derail Donald Trump’s campaign by claiming he was a tool of the Kremlin have rebooted their operation since his election with a multimillion-dollar stealth campaign to persuade major media outlets and lawmakers that the president should be impeached,” he reported last March.

“The effort has successfully placed a series of questionable stories alleging secret back channels and meetings between Trump associates and Russian spies while influencing related investigations and reports from Congress.”

Remarking on this report at the time, Limbaugh speculated that a similar organization had been responsible for “70 different journalists describing George Bush selecting Dick Cheney as his vice presidential running mate as ‘gravitas.'”

“It’s an organization like this that was sending out talking points on Cheney providing gravitas,” he said. “The thing that’s always amazed me about this is from the competitive standpoint. Here you have journalists at all these three networks and CNN and MSNBC, and theoretically, they’re all trying to stand out. They’re all trying to be different,. They’re all trying to advance their careers as individuals. How in the world do 85 or a hundred of them end up sounding identical? Why?”

Well, if the bulk of the mainstream media is nothing but an arm of the Democrat Party, it’d make perfect sense, wouldn’t it? So would Alemany just happening to have a copy of Democrat talking points.
