With the media whipped into an impeachment frenzy, Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., went off on Democrats Tuesday for their obsession with impeaching President Trump.
“I’m pissed as I stand here!” he told reporters Tuesday outside the House Intelligence Committee.
The Republican said that many Americans are “disgusted” with the partisan effort to unseat a duly-elected president that has set aside the nation’s business on important matters.
“It’s all to appease an enraged liberal activist base insisting on resisting, impeaching, opposing, and obstructing everything and anything,” Zeldin said, surrounded by other Republican lawmakers.
He said that a few select Democrats are holding the country hostage, as they “instill fear on the part of their colleagues in their own conference.”
“If we sound like we’re pissed as we stand here, it’s because we are,” Zeldin insisted.
“The American people are getting screwed by an enraged liberal activist base that’s demanding impeachment,” he added. “They don’t even care what the crime was, they don’t care what the facts are. They don’t care what the evidence is.”
Rep. Lee Zeldin DESTROYED the Corrupt House Democrats that are focusing on impeachment instead of working with the President to help the American people!

House Republicans called the press conference and are pushing back hard as House Democrats, led by Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, try to rewrite the rules in their pursuit of Trump.
Which Schiff looking to take “extraordinary steps” to keep Republican lawmakers from learning the identity of the whistleblower who expressed concerns over the president’s call with Ukraine, Zeldin ripped the chairman for conducting a “clown show,” calling it a “political charade.”
Citing the recent testimony of Kurt Volker, the former U.S. Special Representative to Ukraine, Zeldin said there was no quid pro quo involved and pointed out that the aid in question was being released.
“This whole thing is a fairy tale!” he said, before admonishing reporters. “Adam Schiff is misleading you and you’re playing along with it. And the American public is getting deceived.”
Interestingly, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, suggested in a tweet late Tuesday morning that now is the time to go all in.
“Unlike the House of Representatives, I’m tired of only hearing one side of the story. It’s now time to give voice to everything Ukraine. Let the chips fall where they may!” he tweeted.

It’s become painstakingly clear that Democrats intend to see this sordid process through to the bitter end.
It’s also becoming more and more clear that many Americans are getting fed up with it. As a social media user asked, “If you don’t fight now … when?”
Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
BRAVO BRAVO!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Get in there and fight you guys! No more “Nice guy, polite, genteel” “push-over Republicans” …. our country has endured enough and sacrificed enough at the hands of crooked and dirty govt. If you don’t fight now … when?

The @GOP needs to go all out on Schiff and the Dems, enough of getting shoved around.
Even a child will fight back when they have been pushed around enough times.@realDonaldTrump can’t win this war all on his own, even though he’s trying like hell.
