Dobbs is furious: ‘Damn fool’ RINOs owe American people, Trump ‘apology’ for slamming Syria pullout

Fox Business host Lou Dobbs slammed “RINO” Republicans who are critical of President Trump’s decision to pull U.S. troops out of northern Syria.

Dobbs’ anger spilled over on “Lou Dobbs Tonight” Monday over the “little people” in the Republican Party who are openly criticizing Trump on bringing 1,000 American troops home in the wake of Turkey’s potential offensive plans in the country.

The Fox Business host leveled a scathing rebuke of Republicans as he spoke with political strategist Ed Rollins about the president’s decision, blasting critics within the president’s own party after railing against Utah Sen. Mitt Romney and his open opposition to Trump’s policies.

“These people are just amazingly the problem,” Dobbs said, showing viewers a screenshot of several prominent Republicans who have come out vocally against the Syria decision, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz as well as former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley, and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC.

“The president is talking about bringing 1,000 troops home and leaving 18 million people to fend for themselves. What in the world are we thinking about in this country,” he said.

“This is nonsense!” Dobbs exclaimed. “Each one of those people owes—in my judgment, again, for multiple reasons, and a number of cases—the American people and this president an apology.”

“Just stand aside,” he said, exasperated.

Rollins, who served in the administrations of and advised four U.S. Presidents and is currently the chairman of the pro-Trump Great America PAC, attempted several times to make his point that, though Trump is right, he should choose his battles with Republicans carefully as he needs their support in the face of Democrats’ targeting him with impeachment.

“They are fighting with our president over 1,000 of our troops being stuck in northern Syria in grave danger and harm’s way with for national security purpose whatsoever,” Dobbs said.

“He needs to get them out of there, but he needs not to be in a fractious battle with his own side,” Rollins interjected.

“To hell with the fractious battle! Tell them to stand down,” Dobbs exclaimed. “The president is right. History will prove him right and he campaigned on this and these damn fools campaign on nothing.”

“I don’t disagree with that. The next three our four months we’ve got a tremendous battle going on with the Democrats in the House,” Rollins attempted to point out.

“This is about our troops in harm’s way. The hell with politics!” Dobbs shot back.

“But the reality is, if he’s going to be attacked by the Democrats, he needs Republicans to be defending him in the Senate,” Rollins continued, noting that there are 10 or 15 Republican lawmakers “looking for any excuse to not support this president.”

Dobbs slammed the Republicans lacking the “integrity” to stand with Trump, calling it “Darwinian.”

“People lacking that kind of integrity and spine and interest in this nation…as far as I’m concerned,” Dobbs interjected, disgusted with the GOP establishment. “They are looking for any excuse to play games. They are little people with little to no ideas.”

“The Democrats are going to impeach him and we need the Senate,” Rollins said, attempting to get his point across one last time.

But Dobbs was adamant that GOP lawmakers who won’t stand with Trump need to take a seat or get out of office.

“We sure as hell don’t need to hold the Senate at the cost of one single American life,” Dobbs concluded.
