Kamala Harris asks Dems if America is ready for her as president and they said no’

Democratic Senator Kamala Harris set herself up to be humiliated when a roomful of her own supporters said she’s not ready to be president.

The hilarity erupted during a town hall in Reno, Nevada when Harris asked a roomful of supporters if they think she’s electable.

Kamala said: “In the last couple of months — certainly a few weeks — there’s this whole conversation that has been coming up about ‘electability’ focused on our campaign. Is America ready for that?”

The roomful of Democratic voters shouted back in response: “NO!!”

A shocked and embarrassed Harris stammered back meekly: “Well, yes they are.”

Despite backing from Barack Obama, Harris’ flailing presidential campaign has crashed and burned in recent weeks.

The latest Fox News poll shows Harris trailing behind her Democratic rivals by double digits:

  • Joe Biden: 29%
  • Bernie Sanders: 18%
  • Elizabeth Warren: 16%
  • Kamala Harris: 7%.

Harris has failed to gain traction among minorities, despite bribing black voters with promises of slavery reparations and $100 billion of taxpayer money in housing assistance for black families.

Many on social media mocked Harris for pandering to black voters by pointing out that her ancestors in Jamaica owned slaves decades ago.

One man noted: “Her Jamaican family descendants were slave owners…The historical accounts are so detailed that should Kamala Harris want to search out the families of the people her relative reportedly tortured, she would probably be able to find them, and pay reparations to them herself.”

Another asked: “Just how much of our money do you plan to spend to buy the presidency?”

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris’ attempt to censor President Donald Trump by getting him banned from Twitter has also failed.

After Harris wrote a letter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey asking that he ban Trump, Dorsey refused. Harris’ attempt to censor a duly-elected U.S. president from a free social media platform has even angered her fellow Democrats.

As BizPac Review reported, Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard defended Trump, saying he should not be banned from Twitter — no matter what Kamala Harris says. Why? Because Gabbard says the president of the United States has the right to free speech just like every other American does.

“I think freedom of speech is something that is an important, foundational right in our democracy,” Congresswoman Gabbard said. “We can’t just cancel, shut down, or silence those who we disagree with or who hold different views or who say things that we strongly disagree with.”

While Tulsi Gabbard is a virulent Trump-hater who disagrees with much of what he says, she says censorship is not the solution.

“These freedoms and principles enshrined in our Constitution are things that we have to take very seriously,” Gabbard said. “I and so many others who wear the uniform of this country are willing to give our lives to protect and defend this freedom of speech — even for those who are saying things that we disagree with.”
