‘Eat the babies!’ Trump calls AOC ‘Wack Job’ after she allows rant on eating babies to avoid climate disaster

It’s been a while since we have heard from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., the Bronx bartender with all the answers to the world’s problems, but the latest incident to propel her into the limelight somehow seems fitting.

In what may be one of the greatest trolling jobs ever, or a perfect encapsulation of the mania that defines Democrats today, a woman stood up at an Ocasio-Cortez town hall to frantically warn about the perils of climate change.

Insisting that we only have “a few months left,” the seemingly troubled woman told the congresswoman that we must “start eating babies!”

As bizarre as her rant was, the reaction from Ocasio-Cortez was just as priceless.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson suggested it may just be someone who “believes the rhetoric of the left,” pointing out the one thing that the lawmaker didn’t do in sharing the clip.

“We’re not going to be here for much longer, because of the climate crisis,” the young woman pleaded. “We only have a few months left.”

“I love that you support the Green Deal but… getting rid of fossil fuel it’s not going to solve the problem fast enough,” she continued. “A Swedish professor said we can eat dead people, but that’s not fast enough.”

Taking her jacket off, she continued: “So I think your next campaign slogan has to be this: ‘We got to start eating babies!”

The woman motioned to her shirt, which had the phrase emblazoned on it.

“We don’t have enough time,” she said desperately. “There’s too much Co2. All of you, you know you are pollutants. Too much Co2! We have to start now, please.”

“Even if we would bomb Russia, we still have too many people, too much pollution. So we have to get rid of the babies,” she implored, as attendants began to descend on her. “That’s a big problem. Just stopping having babies is not enough, we need to eat the babies!”

Progressive Democrats have been so conditioned to accept everyone just as they are and respect them for their differences that no one, not even Ocasio-Cortez, recoiled in horror over the crazed woman’s suggestion.

In fact, Ocasio-Cortez can be seen nodding her head up and down as she listened with empathy.

She also thanked the woman for her comments, adding: “One of the things that’s very important to us is that we need to treat the climate crisis with the urgency that it does present. Luckily, we have more than a few months.”

And when the clip went viral — like there was a chance it wouldn’t — Ocasio-Cortez responded by saying the woman “may have been suffering from a mental condition” and hitting the right for mocking her.

Donald Trump Jr. couldn’t resist responding to the clip on Twitter: “Seems like a normal AOC supporter to me.”

His tweet prompted a presidential reply from dear ol’ dad, President Donald Trump, that was a little more critical: “AOC is a Wack Job!”

The president’s tweet prompted this reply from Ocasio-Cortez, “Better than being a criminal who betrays our country.”

That this was all playing out on Twitter was somewhat fitting, given that the hashtag #EatTheBabies began trending.

In perusing a sampling of responses from Twitter, we can’t help but ask, are you not entertained?
