Dobbs: RNC chair nails it — Republicans better get behind Trump…or pay in 2020

Lou Dobbs has been screaming one particular message to waffling Republicans and had nothing but praise for RNC chair Ronna McDaniel for echoing his sentiment… It’s time to stand by your man, Trump!

The Fox News host touted McDaniel’s message that Republicans who don’t get up, speak out for, and stand by President Trump over the latest impeachment attack will pay a “price” at the ballot box, on Fox Business Network’s Lou Dobbs Tonight on Wednesday.

McDaniel boasted about the Trump campaign’s record-breaking fundraising haul after the Dem conspiracy broke, claiming Trump tried to strongarm Ukraine into digging dirt on rival Dem presidential hopeful Joe Biden.

“It’s been gangbusters, Lou,” McDaniel said of the massive donations. “And the support for this President is like nothing we’ve never seen.”

McDaniel called the Democrats’ latest witch-hunt a “coup” attempt that’s launched a wave of unprecedented grassroots support for President Trump.

Among a list of impressive numbers, McDaniel said the RNC raised $13 million in the 48 hours after Nancy Pelosi announced an official impeachment inquiry of Trump.

“Actually, it went to $15 million shortly after that,” she added.

McDaniel said voter recognition of the corruption behind the Democrat Party and its relentless pursuit to oust Trump from office is sending GOP fundraising “through the roof.”

Dobbs commended McDaniel for standing by the President, and for “making it clear there will be a price” for Republicans who don’t get on board.

“I want to compliment you, certainly, and the Republican National Committee for standing up for this president, and making it clear there will be a price for Republican officeholders who do not stand with the president in this critical moment,” Dobbs said. “You can call it what you will, but it is an effort to overthrow the presidency of Donald Trump.”

McDaniel agreed, saying Republicans who remain quiet on the controversy are “disenfranchising 63 million Trump voters.”

“As I travel the country, Lou, people keep saying to me, ‘We want Republicans to stand up for this president.’ Democrats always stick together.  We need to stick together and support our president because he has stood for the American people.”

McDaniel hammered Democrats for trying to delegitimize the 2016 election simply because they don’t like Trump and the economic freedom he fights for. She added that Dems think that they’re smarter than the voters.

Dobbs agreed, calling the Dem’s impeachment inquiry a “farce.”

“Why not let voters decide in 2020?” Dobbs asked rhetorically.

With a booming economy, including record employment for minorities, McDaniel’s point rings very true.

Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale has been anything but shy about the grassroots support for Trump, and raking in the dough: “ABSOLUTELY HUGE” he tweeted with the fundraising numbers on Tuesday:

Now, it’s up to the Republicans left standing on the sidelines to walk up to the plate.

Republican Rep. Mark Meadows has been taking the lead and pushing back hard against the suspicious accusations leveled against Trump by Dems.

“We need to know what Chairman Adam Schiff and his team knew, when they knew it, and what (if any) interaction or coordination he and his team had with this whistleblower before the complaint became abnormally public.

This story stinks to high heaven,” he tweeted Wednesday.
