Twitter slap: Greta Van Susteren belts Mika for Fox-bashing on Trump

Former Fox News host Greta Van Susteren has come to her former employer’s defense amid attacks on it by glaringly partisan left-wing media hosts.

In a tweet posted early Tuesday morning, she took aim at far-left “MSNBC” hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski for their continued attacks on Fox News.

Members of the nearly all-encompassing left-wing mainstream media have continuously maligned Fox News for being the only establishment network in American history to give credence to the news and perspectives that concern conservatives.

Unlike the mainstream media, for instance, Fox has no qualms about running factual reports about illegal alien crime, Islamic terrorism, urban violence, institutional misandry, etc.

It’s likewise only been Fox News that’s taken the time to offer the counter evidence vis-à-vis the ongoing whistleblower scandal and the evidence vis-à-vis 2020 contender former Vice President Joe Biden’s alleged corruption. But according to the left, evidence they dislike is “lies.”

“Then please stop watching us,” Brzezinski angrily tweeted to Susteren after the former FNC host called out her and Scarborough for their attacks on Fox News.

“What a disturbing tweet. This is about corruption in the Presidency and the hosts that promulgate the President’s lies. A shame not to recognize the importance of this moment.”

It was a stunningly oblivious tweet given the countless examples of the left-wing mainstream media lying through their teeth, particularly about the whistleblower scandal.

While reporting last week on President Donald Trump’s call over the summer with Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky, for instance, multiple media outlets — including CNN, ABC, The Washington Post, and Brzezinski’s own MSNBC — lied via omission.

They lied by cutting out “540 words between one sentence in the transcript and another without noting that anything was between the two sentences,” according to The Epoch Times.

Take CNN:

“The deceptive edit started with a line from Trump: ‘I would like you to do us a favor.’ CNN then immediately placed another line — ‘There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great.’ There were no ellipses or any commentary noting the two sentences were not even in the same paragraph in the transcript.”

Susteren replied to Brzezinski’s trash-talking of Fox News by telling her that she “can do better.”

“You can do better – I know it,” the former FNC host wrote. “Stop watching your competitors and your competitors need to stop watching you and doing the same back at you. The inter cable fighting is taking eye off ball to scrutinize government/politicians which is critical.”

Her point appeared to be that, instead of attacking Fox News for doing its job accurately, perhaps the hosts, talking heads and so-called “journalists” in the media should start doing their job. But instead of acknowledging her point, Brzezinski responded with even more indignation.

“Actually the truth matters,” she wrote. “It may not to you. There are those using their platforms to promulgate the President’s lies. You know that. We will recognize it and condemn it when it happens. You may not care about the truth. We do.”

But if that’s the case, why do the media get the “truth” wrong so often? And why, whenever they do get the truth wrong, it’s concerning a negative story about the president?

Susteren concluded her feud by tweeting, “Do you really believe – even for one second – that I don’t care about the truth?”

The former FNC host then addressed the myriads of other partisan left-wingers who were upset over her tweets.
