Trump fires off: ‘Quid pro Joe’ and Democrats out to destroy the GOP

Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign is flipping the script on leftists accusing the president of “quid pro quo” over his much-debated phone call with the Ukrainian president.

“The Democrats are trying to DESTROY the Republican Party and all that it stands for,” an email to supporters over the weekend from the campaign read. “In 2016, millions of hard-working Americans, like you, were called ‘deplorable.’ Now, the Left is calling you ‘DESPICABLE.’ What’s really despicable is the gross double standard the corrupt Democrats are giving QUID PRO JOE.”

The email later reiterates the fact that the whistleblower complaint that originally kicked off an impeachment inquiry and a clown show of a House hearing does not hold up to scrutiny because it contains zero direct knowledge of anything it addresses.

To make matters worse, the transcript of the actual call has been released and it shows there was never any promised quid pro quo during the call as Democrats are claiming.

“The ‘whistleblower’ had NO direct knowledge of the call AND he is in favor of one of the corrupt 2020 Democrats. Total political bias!” the email states.

Democrats claim Trump was holding up military aid to Ukraine until President Volodymyr Zelensky agreed to investigate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. Again, the transcript of the call shows this never happened. It instead shows Trump mention at one point corruption in both Ukraine and the United States.

And speaking of corruption, “Quid Pro Joe” is a perfect nickname for Biden since the former vice president was accused of corruption long before Trump ever was. Many have accused Biden of using his influence as vice president to help his son Hunter in his overseas business dealings.

One such instance of “help” was Biden allegedly holding up funds to Ukraine until a prosecutor who was investigating a company Hunter worked for was fired. In other words, exactly what Trump is accused of doing.

Unlike Trump, Biden has been caught in a lie when it comes to his allegation of quid pro quo. The current presidential candidate claims he never once spoke to Hunter about any of his business practices in places like China and Ukraine. This contradicts a statement from Hunter saying he spoke to his father about his businesses at least once.

Democrats’ desperate efforts to come up with a new reason to impeach Trump seems to have backfired. With the president releasing both the whistleblower complaint and the transcript of his phone call, facts have been on his side.

And in just 24 hours after Pelosi’s impeachment inquiry announcement, it was revealed that Trump’s campaign and the GOP had brought in more than five million dollars in donations.

The new Trump campaign email also follows the release of an ad that also accused Biden of corruption and went after Democrats hard.

“When President Trump asks Ukraine to investigate corruption, the Democrats want to impeach him, and their media laptops fall in line. They lost the election; now, they want to steal this one. Don’t let them,” the ad warns.
