Comedian Bill Maher called out leftist media hypocrites, saying if Donald Trump Jr. had the same corrupt ties to a Ukrainian oligarch the way Joe Biden’s son Hunter does, Rachel Maddow would be hyperventilating about it nonstop.
“This kid was paid $600,000 [a year] because his name is Biden by a gas company in Ukraine, this super-corrupt country that just had a revolution to get rid of corruption,” Maher said on his HBO cable program. “It just looks bad.”

As BizPac Review reported, in 2014, Hunter Biden was on the board of directors of Burisma Holdings, an energy company owned by a Ukrainian oligarch.
Hunter raked in $50,000 a month for the part-time gig despite the fact that he had no background in energy. That fueled rampant speculation that Hunter only got that cushy gig because the Ukrainian oligarch wanted to influence his dad.
While he was vice president, Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees if Ukraine didn’t fire its top prosecutor, who was investigating Burisma (video below).
Lo and behold! That prosecutor was eventually fired (can someone say “quid pro quo?”).

Bill Maher — a vocal Trump-hater — joked that this corrupt pay-for-play scandal is something Don Jr. would be involved in, but he wasn’t.
“It does sound like something Don Jr. would do,” Maher said. “And if Don Jr. did it, it would be all Rachel Maddow would be talking about!”
As it is, Bill Maher warned Democrats to not go down the impeachment rabbit hole, saying it will paralyze the country and backfire on the Left.
Maher previously supported impeaching Trump, but changed his mind because it wouldn’t remove him from office and would distract the nation with hollow political theater.
“Last week I was like, ‘We’ve got to impeach him!’ Now that they’re going to do it, I’m like, ‘should we?'” Maher said. “If we do this, the country is going to be paralyzed. It’s going to be paralyzed for a very long time and all of the oxygen in the room will be taken by this.”

Maher explained that while some leftists are gung-ho about impeachment, the majority of Americans just care about paying their bills and living their lives.
Maher said: “Are these people going to say, ‘I don’t care about Trump’s phone call to a country I know nothing about. I care about my phone bill. What are you doing about my phone bill, about my problems?’ I just wonder about that.”
A veteran CIA official says the whistleblower complaint filed against Trump by someone without direct knowledge of the Ukraine phone call sounds contrived and engineered by Democratic congressional staffers or leftist lawyers with a political agenda.
Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh told his 15.5 million listeners that the Democrats’ flimsy impeachment strategy is backfiring.
Limbaugh said the Left’s pathological hatred of Trump will be their undoing when he cruises to a 2020 landslide. Why? Because hate makes you do self-destructive things.
“Hatred’s a poison, folks,” Limbaugh said. “They’re not concerned about blowback. They think everybody is as frustrated as they are that Trump is still there. Their psychology is so destroyed, so messed up … They have yet to actually take the steps necessary to learn how to beat him.”
