Why is teen climate activist off limits, but innocent Covington kids fair game?

While conservatives have some points of contention with Swedish teen Greta Thunberg’s rabid climate change activism, leftists are accusing them of outright attacking the child activist.

But several right-leaning pundits have noticed that there is a glaring discrepancy between how Thunberg is being treated by conservatives, and how Nick Sandmann was treated after the media picked up on edited footage of the Covington Catholic School students just standing there.

President Trump even had something to say, but was relatively kind considering his history of nicknaming his intellectual opponents. He opted for sarcasm instead of insults.

Liberal Twitter was out in full force to justify the blatant abuse hurled toward the Covington kids, which included a Hollywood producer fantasizing about throwing them into a woodchipper, CNN’s Reza Aslan calling Sandmann’s face “punchable,” and calling on people to burn Covington and “fire on” the students.

It’s yet another glaring example of liberal double standards and selective outrage. And good on conservatives for calling it out.
