Only four days before the 18th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, anti-Semitic Muslim Rep. Rashida Tlaib posted a tweet calling for a “revolution” that would “transform” America.
“We have to make the tough, courageous changes that completely transform a political and economic system that is now built for corporations (and profits), not people,” she tweeted Saturday. “Choosing the status quo means doing nothing and giving up. We need a political revolution.”
Despite her Twitter account boasting over three-quarters of a million followers, as of Sept. 11, 2019 — four days after she’d posted the tweet — the tweet had only slightly over 1,300 likes.

Choosing the status quo means doing nothing and giving up.
We need a political revolution. https://t.co/gEBzbgQsdP

Conversely, the tweet boasted over 600 comments, most of them critical. The palpable anger was rooted in a number of complaints, many of them pertaining to Tlaib’s clear-cut radicalism.
That Tlaib would promote any form of radicalism only days before the Sept. 11 anniversary seemed tone deaf to some, particularly given her ties to actual terrorists groups. And that she’d promote her particular brand of Marxist-styled revolution in this economic climate seemed outright ignorant.
As noted by a whole host of critics, the economy is functioning brilliantly at the moment for most Americans, despite the Muslim congresswoman’s claims to the contrary.
“We need a political revolution” –@RashidaTlaib
1. Low minority unemployment
2. Low female unemployment (50-yr low)
3. High job participation rate
4. More jobs than people
5. Amazing wage growth for bottoms earners
Nah. We need complainer Rashida out!

Rashida Tlaib: “We need a political revolution”
What does she plan on revolting against?
Lowest ever minority unemployment?
50-year low female unemployment?
More jobs available than people needing a job?
Fastest ever wage growth for the bottom 10% of earners?

Jobs have grown for 106 months
121 months, longest bull market in American history.
Unemployment rate has been at 4 percent or less for 16 months,
Latino unemployment fallen to its lowest rate on record.
Black unemployment has fallen to its lowest rate on record

Really? The lowest income earners have seen the largest increases in pay for each of the last two years. Black unemployment record low. Tax cuts that benefited the lower income earners the most. Near record minority home ownership. Quit lying already.

Ooh, edgy… back in reality however, fighting poverty actually looks like the booming TRUMP ECONOMY pic.twitter.com/xbBH4qsBij

And claims of the economy benefiting “white men,” have been proven wrong.
“For the first time, most new hires of prime working age (25 to 54) are people of color, according to a Washington Post analysis of data the Labor Department began collecting in the 1970s. Minority hires overtook white hires last year,” The Washington Post reported this week.
“Women are predominantly driving this trend, which is so powerful that even many women who weren’t thinking about working — because they were in school, caring for kids or at home for other reasons — are being lured into employment.”
Because of Tlaib’s anti-Semitism, ties to terrorism and literal promotion of terrorist attacks, some conspiracy theorists on Twitter speculated that perhaps her real goal is to transform the United States into an Islamic nation based not on the Constitution but Sharia law instead:
@RashidaTlaib wants a revolution to put Sharia Law in place. The whole country should be against her for obvious reasons.

@RashidaTlaib wants a political and religious revolution! She wants #Socialism and #ShariaLaw in this Country. She is #Serious! America needs to take her serious! The gang of 4 have taken over the Democratic Party instead of Republicans and Democrats it will be Elite and poor. https://t.co/yakDsaPlpA

We need SHARIA. And culture change….right!?!.

Conspiracy theorists aside, Tlaib teamed up with the terrorist-linked Council on American Islamic Relations to fight a potential anti-Sharia bill.
Proposed by then-state Rep. David Agema, the bill would have outlawed the introduction of “foreign laws” into American society and government. It’s unclear why Tlaib opposed it.
The congresswoman’s public call for “revolution” is definitely treasonous, according to columnist Cheryl K. Chumley of The Washington Times.
“This is not simply a difference of political differences; a Democrat view versus a Republican view. This is treasonous. It’s treason wrapped in a social justice ribbon,” she opined in a column Tuesday. “Tlaib is a member of the U.S. Congress, bound by oath of office to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
“Politicians who call for America to toss aside its Constitution, rip up its republic and instead go socialist — who call for complete economic and political overhaul and ‘revolution’ — don’t deserve to serve in public office,” she continued. “They don’t deserve to represent the people; they don’t deserve paychecks from the American people. They are treasonous in their thinking, treasonous in their political rhetoric, treasonous in their pressings and have no business feigning service to the Constitution or country.”
