The Women for Trump coalition is holding 14 events in 14 cities across 13 battlegrounds today to mobilize suburban female voters ahead of the 2020 election.

The event will celebrate the August 1920 ratification of the 19th Amendment that gave women the right to vote.

Dr. Alveda King — the niece of civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King — is an outspoken Trump supporter. Alveda King will headline an event in Marietta, Georgia today.

Other headliners at various events nationwide include White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, Trump campaign adviser Katrina Pierson and Pam Bondi, the former attorney general of Florida.

Kayleigh McEnany, the national press secretary for President Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign, says women have made great strides under the Trump administration. Among them is that unemployment among women is at historic lows.

“Today, under the leadership of President Trump, the party is again pioneering the way for women in the workplace,” McEnany wrote in a Fox News op-ed. “For more than a year under President Trump, the unemployment rate for women has been below 4 percent month after month.”

She added: “By contrast, the unemployment rate never once fell below 4 percent under either Presidents Barack Obama or George W. Bush. Overall, female unemployment is at its lowest point in 65 years.”

McEnany also pointed out that President Trump was the first president to include paid family leave in a federal budget – a policy that helps to promote mothers in the workforce.

“Additionally, President Trump ensured that $2.4 billion be made available to the Child Care and Development Fund, which now provides more than $8 billion to low-income families in need of access to childcare.

President Trump has doubled the Child Tax Credit and added thousands back into the average Americans’ paycheck through tax cuts and wage growth.”

McEnany says the media “do their best” to conceal the achievements of President Trump on behalf of women.

However, she says the Women for Trump coalition is confident that ladies nationwide “have taken notice” and will reelect Trump on November 3, 2020.

Similarly, Trump campaign adviser Katrina Pierson praised President Trump for his record helping women, minorities, and the forgotten men and women across the United States.

“The time for skepticism on the Trump economy has long since long come and gone. This isn’t a flash in the pan,” Pierson wrote in an op-ed in Detroit News. “Trump has achieved the strongest overall economic growth since the start of the Great Recession, and he’s made sure that this time the prosperity is shared by ordinary Americans, especially women, and not just the ones with jobs on Wall Street.”

“With unemployment holding steady in the mid-3% range, Americans are enjoying the lowest jobless rate since 1969.

Women are doing even better, achieving a 3.6% unemployment rate last year, the lowest female unemployment rate since 1954, when far fewer women were in the workforce. And the jobs being created in the Trump economy are good ones, too — wage growth is beating inflation consistently for the first time in decades.”
