Jill Biden makes pitiful pitch for hubby Joe: ‘Maybe you have to swallow a little bit’

Former second lady Jill Biden made a pitiful, unconvincing pitch to Democrats for why they should vote for her husband Joe Biden.

Basically, Jill said that you may not like Joe or think he has the best ideas, but you should vote for him anyway because polls suggest he has the best chance to beat President Trump.

Jill Biden gave the tepid endorsement during a campaign stop in Manchester, New Hampshire. She said, “I know that not all of you are committed to my husband, and I respect that. But I want you to think about your candidate and who’s going to win this race.”

She also said that Democrats’ goals should not be to elect the best person for president, but to defeat Trump.

“My goal is to beat Donald Trump,” Biden said. “We have to have someone who can beat him. So if you look at the polls, if you look at Joe with his record with independents. Your candidate might be better on, I don’t know, health care than Joe is. But you’ve got to look at who’s going to win this election. And maybe you have to swallow a little bit and say, ‘OK, I personally like so-and-so better,’ but your bottom line has to be that we have to beat Trump.”

Despite Joe Biden’s unending series of embarrassing gaffes both in the past and on the campaign trail this summer, polls consistently show that he’s the Democratic frontrunner who has the best chance to beat Trump.

Biden’s popularity among Democrats despite his terrible performance as a candidate underscores that most Democrats are not far-left socialists like Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Most Democrats are centrists–not radicals.

Meanwhile, Fox News host Tucker Carlson slammed Biden for running an uninspired, “zombie” campaign. At times, Joe doesn’t even look like he wants to run.

“The polls say that Joe Biden is the front runner for the Democratic nomination. And in fact, as of today, he still is,” Carlson noted. “The polls tell you he’s got a very good chance of being the President. But that’s not real. Biden officially is still in the lead and yet, let’s be completely honest: Biden’s campaign is not a real campaign, it’s a zombie effort. It lurches from one blunder to another until finally some catastrophe will put it out of its misery.”

Carlson continued: “Even Biden’s own allies want him to stop speaking in public so often. Why? When people actually see Joe Biden, they realize he’s not a distinguished elder statesman; he is, sadly, a fading one. He thinks Cory Booker is the president of the United States. He believes that truth outweighs the facts. He thinks he was Vice President last year during the Parkland shooting.”

Tucker pointed out that even his supposed pal, Barack Obama, has refused to endorse Biden.

Carlson said: “According to some reports, Obama repeatedly urged Biden not to run. ‘You don’t have to do this,’ Obama warned Biden. Obama cares about one thing–himself. He’s obsessed with his political legacy. Every day that Biden stays on the campaign trail, he is detracting from that legacy.”

Tucker said Biden’s listless campaign is nearing its inevitable end because he’s “explicitly running as a continuation” of Barack Obama’s agenda.

Carlson said: “But the only problem is, that agenda has been completely eclipsed by a radical political agenda. Now Democrats are demanding single-payer health care, which would be given for free to illegal immigrants–the ones streaming over our open border with Mexico.”

Carlson added: “Candidates are advocating reparations based on skin color and the abolition of America’s history. They want to remake gender relations from the ground up. Obama could be seen as the one who paved the way for all of that. Thanks to his friend Joe Biden, though, he’s becoming a Democratic president who kept it from happening even sooner.”
