Tlaib’s 90-year-old grandmother curses President Trump: ‘May Allah ruin him’

The Tlaib charm is apparently a deeply rooted family trait. Muftia Tlaib, the 90-year-old Palestinian grandmother of U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), cursed President Donald Trump in Arabic on Saturday in an interview, saying, “May Allah ruin him.”

Congresswoman Tlaib, who burst onto the national scene after her election by telling a crowd of supporters at a reception, “we’re going to impeach the motherf**ker,” has been grandstanding and manipulating the political optics of a purported effort to visit her grandmother in the West Bank that was originally a trip organized with fellow anti-Semite Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and funded by an anti-Semitic group.

“I was happy that she was coming, I was excited that she was coming, for her grandmother to see her,” Muftia Tlaib said.

Bassam Tlaib, Muftia’s son and Rashida’s uncle, said the two women have not seen each other since 2006.

“She was going to slaughter a sheep when Rashida arrived and prepare her favorite food, stuffed vine leave,” he said. “Rashida sees her granny as a second mother, she has always supported her. Rashida says she owes her success to her grandmother.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu learned of the planned trip by Tlaib and Omar and issued a ban on their visit, referencing both the source of the funding for the trip and the congresswomen’s activist histories supporting the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement. However, after Tlaib submitted a humanitarian request for entry to visit family and it was approved, she withdrew the request, tweeting that “visiting my grandmother under these oppressive conditions stands against everything I believe in — fighting against racism, oppression & injustice.”

President Trump tweeted his support for Israel on the matter and got in a dig on Rep. Tlaib when he wrote, “Israel was very respectful & nice to Rep. Rashida Tlaib, allowing her permission to visit her ‘grandmother.’ As soon as she was granted permission, she grandstanded & loudly proclaimed she would not visit Israel. Could this possibly have been a setup? Israel acted appropriately!”

In a follow-up tweet Trump added, “Rep. Tlaib wrote a letter to Israeli officials desperately wanting to visit her grandmother. Permission was quickly granted, whereupon Tlaib obnoxiously turned the approval down, a complete setup. The only real winner here is Tlaib’s grandmother. She doesn’t have to see her now!”

Muftia Tlaib heard about the president’s comments and had her own Tlaib curse to bestow on him when she told her interviewer, “Trump tells me I should be happy Rashida is not coming.”

She added, “May Allah ruin him.”

The whole trip was an obvious ruse designed to bash Israel, and that was made all the more apparent when Rashida Tlaib decided to take the political angle and use the whole episode to attack Israel rather than to take the Israeli offer to visit her grandmother. She only needed to promise “not to act to promote boycotts against Israel during her visit.”

Whatever. The squad continues their anti-Semitic war on Israel and the world’s other anti-Semites cheer them on. But all that hatred only succeeds in revealing their true nature.
