The left is gung-ho at the moment about going after ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) despite the fact that the government agency merely enforces the laws that are on the books.
One of the ways leftists are targeting ICE is by creating an effort to get Google to stop working with the agency.
In a petition from Google employees calling for an end to the company’s relationship with ICE, the leftists say the tech giant is “trading its integrity for a bit of profit.” The petition goes on to compare immigration enforcement agencies to Nazis.
Leftists like Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Marianne Williamson and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) have also targeted immigration enforcement agencies in similar fashion with recent quotes.
Appearing on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” former acting ICE director Tom Homan had a message for leftist Google employees looking for their company to sever ties with immigration enforcement agencies.
“First of all, the only thing I’d tell them is get out of the building. Fire them. I don’t know any employees who want to see their company lose millions of [dollars worth] of contracts with the federal government,” Homan said in reaction when speaking to guest host Jason Chaffetz.
Homan added, “Look, they’re supposed to be smart, this young techie generation, but these people are morons because they haven’t studied the issue.”
“Find out what ICE actually does,” he added.
He went on to say that the comparison of ICE agents to Nazis is ridiculous, especially since illegal immigrants are treated humanely and the majority of illegal immigrants taken into custody are facing criminal charges stemming from something other than coming into the country illegally.
Homan also praised ICE for taking illegal opioids off the streets and for saving countless women and children from sex-trafficking rings.
Further angered by the Nazi comparison, Homan took the time to educate the Google whiners a bit more about how ICE works.
“ICE actually has an entire division that investigates or removes human rights violators. During my 34 years with ICE, we actually arrested and removed hundreds of Nazi war criminals [so they] could go back and stand trial,” Homan said.

National Border Patrol Council president Brandon Judd also joined “The Ingraham Angle” to share his thoughts on the left’s calls for a boycott of ICE.
“I can’t tell you how disgusted I am that because we’re enforcing the laws that Congress passed, and we’re doing it in a humane manner by the way … we’re being compared to people that murdered [six million] Jews,” he said.
Judd added that those looking to destroy the contracts between Google and immigration enforcement agencies are missing the irony of their position.
“So these people are saying that we have to protect these illegal immigrants that are coming across our border illegally. If we can’t process them, if we don’t have the technology that Google can offer then we can’t process them in a timely manner and we have to hold them even longer,” he said.
Chaffetz then switched gears and brought up the rape case of an 11-year-old girl. One of the men accused of assaulting the young girl had actually already been deported back to El Salvador and then reentered the country illegally.
Homan responded to this case by saying that the release of criminals seems to be exactly what leftists want when they promote sanctuary cities. He added that ICE gets no credit from the left for taking down criminals simply because those criminals happen to be illegal immigrants.
“137,000 convicted criminals we took off the streets of this country,” Homan said of his time with ICE. “So to the Google employees, to AOC and the squad, you’re welcome.”
He then had a direct message for AOC, one of ICE’s most outspoken critics.
“AOC, we arrested 5000 criminals off the streets of New York. I’ve done more for the safety of New York than you did,” Homan declared.
