Anti-Semitic Muslim Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has reportedly bent the knee and, in exchange for being allowed into Israel so that she may see her grandmother, essentially agreed to not talk trash about the Jewish state during said visit.
“Interior Minister Aryeh Deri decided on Friday to approve the entry of US Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib on a humanitarian visit of her 90-year-old grandmother,” the Israeli government announced in a statement Friday morning.
“Congresswoman Tlaib sent a letter to Minister Deri tonight pledging to accept Israel’s demands, respecting the restrictions imposed on her during the visit, and promising not to promote boycotts against Israel during her visit. In light of this, and in accordance with his commitment yesterday, Minister Deri decided to allow her entry into Israel and expressed hope that her commitment and visit would indeed be for humanitarian purposes only.”
The announcement came hours after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threw a wrench in Tlaib and fellow anti-Semitic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s plans to visit Israel by blocking their visit over their ongoing anti-Israeli activism.
In a lengthy statement posted to Twitter, the PM specifically cited both their support for the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, as well the fact that their visit is being funded by a group whose members “have expressed support for terrorism against Israel.”

with one exception: Israeli law prohibits the entry into Israel of those who call for and work to impose boycotts on Israel, as do other democracies that prohibit the entry of people who seek to harm the country.

In fact, in the past the US did this to an Israeli member of Knesset, as well as to other public figures from around the world.

Only a few days ago, we received their itinerary for their visit in Israel, which revealed that they planned a visit whose sole objective is to strengthen the boycott against us and deny Israel’s legitimacy.

For instance: they listed the destination of their trip as Palestine and not Israel, and unlike all Democratic and Republican members of Congress who have visited Israel, they did not request to meet any Israeli officials, either from the government or the opposition.

A week ago, Israel warmly welcomed some 70 Democratic and Republican members of Congress, who expressed broad bipartisan support for Israel, which was also demonstrated a month ago in a resounding bipartisan vote against BDS in Congress.

However, the itinerary of the two Congresswomen reveals that the sole purpose of their visit is to harm Israel and increase incitement against it.

In addition, the organization that is funding their trip is Miftah, which is an avid supporter of BDS, and among whose members are those who have expressed support for terrorism against Israel.

Therefore, the minister of interior has decided not to allow their visit, and I, as prime minister, support his decision.

Nonetheless, if Congresswoman Tlaib submits a humanitarian request to visit her relatives, the minister of interior has announced that he will consider her request on the condition that she pledges not to act to promote boycotts against Israel during her visit.

“Israel has decided – we won’t enable the members of Congress to enter the country,” Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely reportedly added. “We won’t allow those who deny our right to exist in this world to enter Israel. In principle this is a very justified decision.”
Following the announcement, which attracted the blessing of President Donald Trump but the condemnation of congressional Democrats, Tlaib submitted a letter to Deri requesting “admittance to Israel to in order to visit my relatives, and specifically my grandmother.”
It’s unclear what sort of consequences (if any) she might face if she violates the Israeli government’s stipulations. What’s known is that after Netanyahu initially offered to allow her entrance in exchange for her pledging “not to act to promote boycotts against Israel during her visit,” she posted a trash-talking tweet in which she accused Israel of being weak and further suggested that her grandmother isn’t capable of living “in peace & with human dignity” because of the nation’s policies:

According to The Jewish Press, Tlaib’s now-approved visit is tentatively scheduled to occur “between Sunday and Friday of next week.” Meanwhile, as of Friday morning, Omar remains blocked from entrance, as she has no family within Israel.

Despite being granted the opportunity to visit her grandmother, Tlaib ultimately chose to reject the offer:
