News of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s suicide broke Saturday morning, leading to wide-spread speculation about the “real” reason he died. While documents related to the Epstein sex-trafficking case indicated high-profile associates – and while any of those associates have very good reason to want Epstein silenced – some people have taken their theories off the rails.
The right is implicating the Clinton family (as evidenced by the trending hashtag “#ClintonBodyCount“on Twitter) but the left is blaming – you guessed it – Russia.
No, that’s not a joke. Progressive loon and MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, who has a history of attempting to tie people to Russia – posted a tweet that insinuated that perhaps Russia carried out a hit on behalf of “rich and powerful men.”
A guy who had information that would have destroyed rich and powerful men’s lives ends up dead in his jail cell. How predictably…Russian.

“A guy who had information that would have destroyed rich and powerful men’s lives ends up dead in his jail cell,” Scarborough posted. “How predictably…Russian.”
It wasn’t long until leftists on the social media platform began to follow suit, alleging that Russia may have had something to do with the shocking death of the disgraced financier.
Epstein suicide. Sure. Seems likely. Probably what happened.
Hey, folks, we’re Russia now. Enjoy it.

It is disturbing that a powerful billionaire accused of sex trafficking minors, who was already on suicide watch, has died while in federal custody, his many secrets about other powerful men going with him to the grave. This sounds like something that would happen in Russia, no?

Epstein’s “suicide” is nearly identical to many similar events Putin orchestrates in Russia. Somehow I don’t think left wing Twitter will be as eager to solve this conspiracy as they are Russia’s.

While the facts surrounding the reported suicide are admittedly unclear (as they often are with high-profile breaking stories) the fact that rabid liberals are attempting to once again invoke Russia to – however pitifully – tie Trump to Epstein’s death just shows how terribly deranged they are.
There is absolutely no evidence to support their claims, but then again, they pushed the Trump/Russia collusion conspiracy for two years without having any concrete evidence. It is clear that nothing is beneath them, and if there is no tangible tie to the Kremlin, they have absolutely no problem creating one out of thin air.
Predictably, this netted Scarborough quite a bit of well-deserved ridicule on Twitter:
You’re an idiot, Joe.

reckless speculation like this from someone with a platform and voice as large as yours is as irresponsible as it gets.

Are the Russians who did this in the room with you now?

“How can I fit Russia hysteria into this?”

Stupidest tweet of the weekend and it’s only Saturday morning. Impressive

Is it also “predictably Russian” when an intern dies by “accident” in the office of her boss, with whom she was probably having an affair?
