Rosanna Arquette claims FBI advised account lockdown after severe backlash from white shaming tweet

Actress Rosanna Arquette is claiming that the FBI told her to “lock” her Twitter account following a viral tweet declaring she was “disgusted” and “sorry” for being born white.

“Yes I’m locked to protect myself I was told by FBI to lock it up,” Arquette said about locking her account, according to The Wrap.

Arquette has nearly 90,000 followers on Twitter and only they can now see her tweets. To follow her on the social media platform, users now have to send a request which will be approved or denied by the actress.

In a statement given to The Wrap, the “Pulp Fiction” actress said she received “threatening and cruel” responses to a tweet where she declared to be

“There are toxic and very vicious people on social media. Threatening and cruel,” she said. “I said yesterday the I am ashamed of the color of my skin. I am privileged just because I’m white. I feel shame. Because of all the violence that is happening in America and other racist countries.”

Following her grouping America in with “other racist countries,” Arquette went on to say that we are witnessing “severe racism” in 2019.

“I was not raised to be racist. In fact my mother took me to Harlem to integrate and all black nursery school when I was 4. I feel truly desolate at the bigotry. and severe racism that we are witnessing in 2019,” she said.

The “Buffalo ’66” actress added that because she was one of the actresses to publicly accuse disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment, she was already in a “state of fear.”

“On top of being one of the women who came out about [Harvey] Weinstein. The Boy’s Club is bigger than it ever [has been], so the attacks are really actually dangerous right now. But that’s what they want to put me in a state of fear. And I say no. I will not be afraid so I will protect myself and I do have people around me who are ready to protect me if someone goes after me. Don’t f*ck with me is where I’m at,” she said.

Arquette, whose siblings include the performers Patricia and David Arquette, also mentioned Jeffrey Epstein in her statement.

“We are witnessing the light being shed in the darkest parts of a hidden sick society [–] the selling of children for sex. Epstein is just the beginning. These sick f*cks are going down,” she said.

Arquette’s original tweet said she was “sorry I was born white and privileged. It disgusts me. And I feel so much shame.”

The tweet instantly went viral. While there were no doubt some uncivil responses (welcome to the internet), most simply pointed out the ridiculous attitude in the tweet.

If you’re “ashamed” to be white and privileged, then you are far more privileged than you know. It’s an absurd thought to have. There are people starving in the world and soldiers fighting for their lives overseas and meanwhile, a successful actress is taking to social media to whine about how “ashamed” she is of her race and her success.

Look, if you’re ashamed to be successful then jump on a plane and go volunteer somewhere. Hopping on a cell phone or laptop and shooting out a tweet is meant only to get pats on the back from other extreme leftists looking to earn “woke” points from social media mobs.

Also, what “severe racism” is Arquette talking about? There are countries that have governments that literally persecute people for their genders and sexual orientations. In America, we may have a couple egghead racists who wave their fists at the sky, but the government takes no action against anybody because of the color of their skin or anything else they don’t have a choice in.

Arquette’s tweet exemplifies how disconnected some of Hollywood is right now. It’s frightening. They’re not living in reality. They’re living in a privileged bubble where their only insights into other ways of life seem to be biased news reports and the woke mobs that have taken over social media.
