People reporting lines around the block at Bill Miller Bar-B-Q following Castro’s Trump shaming

While many people identified on the political hit list recently shared by Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX) have been harassed by leftists, many Americans have come out to show support for the people unfairly singled out for supporting President Donald Trump.

Included on Castro’s list were some San Antonio businesses owned by people who have donated to Trump’s campaign. One of those businesses is Bill Miller Bar-B-Q.

It seems Castro may have unintentionally advertised for the business because people claiming to be locals are reporting lines of people looking to support it stretching long and far.

“Cars were lined up around the block at one of the San Antonio Texas locations! Loved The Bill Miller Breakfast Special. I even purchased breakfast tac oui s for my coworkers!” one user tweeted along with a picture of cars waiting to give the business their money.

Another user reported that “lines were out the door” and “drive up lanes were several times longer than usual” at the Bill Miller Bar-B-Q they visited.

“Here in San Antonio it has resulted in some unintended consequences. One of the companies he fixed is Bill Miller’s Barbeque. The lines were out the door, and the drive up lanes were several times longer than usual. So, thank you Joaquin, we show you don’t matter,” the user tweeted.

“Nothing like free advertising,” reported another who also said the line was “out the door” at the restaurant he went to.

Other regular customers reported that their wait times were longer following Castro’s political hit list at Bill Miller Bar-B-Q thanks to people coming out to support the business in response to the congressman’s disgusting attack.

“This idiot just cost his brother what snowball chance in hell he had at getting the democratic nomination. But thanks to you, the line at the Bill Miller’s I go to was going outside, making us wait even longer to order,” one user tweeted.

Another said, “The line to the Bill Miller by me had a line going outside, making me wait even longer to order my food.”

What makes Castro’s political hit list even more disgusting is that it was shared only days after the shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio.

When confronted on “Morning Joe” about the gathering and sharing of Trump supporters’ personal information, Castro squirmed and tried to defend himself by saying he didn’t create the graphic he shared, which is a pathetic defense because Castro did not retweet the image — he tweeted it himself.

And despite saying that the intention of his tweet was not to encourage harassment, Castro said at one point in the interview, “What I would like for [these donors] to do is think twice about supporting a guy who is fueling hate in this country.”

Castro wants to have it both ways. He wants to not take responsibility for intimidating Trump voters, but he wants to intimidate them and encourage harassment against them at the same time. Considering the support people are showing to this business following the hit list, maybe Castro should “think twice” about encouraging such harassment in the future.
