Evangelist Alveda King, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., is not helping leftists with their arguments that President Donald Trump is a racist. In fact, she has quite the opposite to say.
“I am the Niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Listen to my words,” she recently tweeted, “President Trump is not a racist!!”
It doesn’t get much clearer than that.
King even went on to praise Trump as “one of the best presidents” in American history.
“He is one of the best presidents America has ever seen! I fully support him!” she tweeted.

Speaking to Fox News about the reactions to the president’s recent visits to El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, King said, “I’ve had the experience of going head-to-head with genuine racists. Back in the 20th century, I was a youth organizer … and a racist is a person who really does believe that their race, their category of humanity is superior or different.”
She went on to call out Joe Biden and other Democrats for “not being honest” about Trump denouncing white supremacy, which King acknowledged the president has done “several times.”
“One thing really is getting to me,” she said, “and I’d like for you to look into this, the race-baiters who want to stir up fear and hate make us think we’re different when we’re one blood and one human race. President Trump says, ‘we all bleed the same,’ he’s really clear on that, he has done so much for all Americans, including African Americans.”
She continued by taking down recent comparisons made by Biden and others between Trump and segregationist George Wallace.
“George Wallace really was a racist, but at the end of his time, he recanted, he repented, and he had great remorse,” King said, “so no one ever says that he changed his mind. He had a change of heart and began to receive all humans as brothers and sisters.”
No matter your thoughts on Trump, King brings with her a personal experience and knowledge that should be respected. When she has something to say about whether the president is a racist or not, it should be taken with far more weight than when 2020 hopefuls like Beto O’Rourke or Biden are speaking to cameras in an effort to bolster their poll numbers or fundraising.

People have been showing support for King’s words on social media.
“Thank you Dr Alveda King for voicing what many Americans already know regarding President Trump. It’s very courageous on your part to come out and speak like this when sadly there’s a mob going after everyone they don’t agree with,” one Twitter user wrote in response to King’s interview.
Another replied, “I TRUST @AlvedaCKing with all my soul. She is the essence of a GREAT LEADER who always speaks the TRUTH.”
“Thank you @AlvedaCKing for your fearless efforts fight the evils of racism,” wrote another.

How is it that Alveda King who is the niece of the most prominent civil rights leader in American history Dr. MLK Jr. can acknowlegde that Trump has done more for Black America in 3 years than Obama did during his entire tenure. Yet the media want to portray this man as a racist?
