Former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova predicts “a lot of former Obama people” will be facing a “sad” day in the fall in the wake of the investigation into the origins of the Russia probe.
Speaking about reports that the FBI referred 14 employees to its internal ethics office for leaking classified information, Joe diGenova told Fox Business host Lou Dobbs that people will soon be held accountable despite a lack of action by FBI Director Christopher Wray.

Documents from the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility were obtained by watchdog group Judicial Watch and indicated that at least two dozen employees had been reported in the last three years for allegedly leaking sensitive or classified information.
The Department of Justice decided last week against prosecuting former FBI Director James Comey for including classified information in personal memos.
Lou Dobbs found Comey “getting a pass” to be “irksome,” and asked diGenova on “Lou Dobbs Tonight” Wednesday why U.S. Attorney John Durham and his examination of the FBI’s Russia inquiry was taking so long.
“Actually Lou, it’s not,” diGenova replied, repeating his assertion last week that the process is moving at “lightning speed.”
“Here’s what’s going on. Durham has been asked to perform a miracle after three years of incompetence with Sessions and Rod Rosenstein and then Mueller,” the former US Attorney said.
“And now Durham is being asked to mop it up. He is moving with incredible speed. He’s conducted over 50 interviews with key personnel,” he continued.
“And I’m going to tell you tonight that James Comey and a lot of other people are going to be very sad in September. It’s going to be a wonderful time for the country and accountability and a very bad time for a lot of former Obama people who broke the law,” diGenova added, echoing remarks made by Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday.

“My sources are telling me… At the end of this investigation, my sources are telling me today and tonight, everything that we have been telling our viewers, by say no later than the fall, it’s all going to be revealed to the American people,” Hannity said.
“The issue of the abuse of power and corruption is not only just started, they are deep into discovering the things that we have told you on this program. Every one of them will be proven to be true. Every single solitary report,” he added. “I have high-level sources telling me tonight, that by the time that Attorney Durham is done with his job, and the Attorney General is done with his job, and the investigation is complete adding into it Inspector General Horowitz, it will shock the conscience of a nation. That is a quote.”
Victoria Toensing, diGenova’s wife and legal partner, told Dobbs “we now have a Justice Department behaving professionally.”
“In the interest of the American people,” Dobbs quipped, “I can’t wait ’til September.”
