With the news that her chief of staff/handler abruptly resigned amid a federal probe, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., had been quiet for a few days, but no more as she took umbrage over the treatment of a cardboard cut-out of herself.

Taking to social media, the democratic socialist ripped Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell over a picture of some young men wearing “team Mitch” T-shirts posing with Flat AOC — it’s not clear if they are associated with McConnell’s campaign.

One of the apparent teens was mock choking the cardboard image, while another was embracing it while feigning a kiss — the photo caption stated, “Break me off a piece of that.”

Ocasio-Cortez found the photo so offensive, she shared it with 5 million followers.

The caption was directed at McConnell: “Hey @senatemajldr – these young men look like they work for you. Just wanted to clarify: are you paying for young men to practice groping & choking members of Congress w/ your payroll, or is this just the standard culture of ?”

In the aftermath of a pair of shootings over the weekend, Ocasio-Cortez and her fellow Democrats have been pressuring McConnell to cancel the upper chamber’s August recess so that they can vote on gun control legislation.

The radical freshman Democrat responded to a tweet from McConnell expressing his condolences to those impacted by the senseless violence seen over the weekend with a call for a vote.

“The entire nation is horrified by today’s senseless violence in El Paso,” McConnell tweeted. “Elaine’s and my prayers go out to the victims of this terrible violence, their families and friends, and the brave first responders who charged into harm’s way.

Meanwhile, in real life, far-left protesters turned out at McConnell’s Kentucky home on Sunday night shouting death threats while demanding more stringent gun control, the New York Post reported.

In a video clip shared online by Capitol Hill communications director Ben Goldey, a protester is heard talking about using a “voodoo doll” on McConnell, while a woman says to “just stabs the mother f*cker in the heart.”

“Hopefully there’s somebody out there with some voodoo dolls of these bitches,” the man said.

“Just stab the motherf–ker in the heart, please,” the woman countered.

McConnell, 77, was home recovering from a broken shoulder after a fall he suffered, according to the Post.

Calling the Republican lawmaker “Murder Turtle,” the boisterous radicals posted a Facebook Live video of their exploits.

The woman above is later heard shouting at Capitol Police officers outside the home.

“You can protect his ass,” she said. “Maybe I do wanna go to jail.”

A protester was also heard saying, “Come out, come out, wherever you are.”

“The bitch home — we keep seeing the lights go on and off,” another says. “This hoe really thought he was going to get ready to be at home after he hurt his little punk ass shoulder. Bitch, don’t nobody give a f–k! F–k your thoughts and prayers, Mitch. F–k you, f–k your wife, f–k everything you stand for. ”

Louisville Metro Police, who were assisting Capitol Police, told the Post that the group outside the senator’s home were “protesting peacefully.”
