Professional opportunist Al Sharpton put the word out on Sunday night that he would be in Baltimore on Monday “to address Trump’s racist remarks re. Baltimore.”
President Donald Trump was online at the crack of dawn with his response, tweeting: “I have known Al for 25 years. Went to fights with him & Don King, always got along well. He ‘loved Trump!’ He would ask me for favors often. Al is a con man, a troublemaker, always looking for a score. Just doing his thing. Must have intimidated Comcast/NBC. Hates Whites & Cops!”

The president went on to explain his history with Reverend Al, saying, “Al Sharpton would always ask me to go to his events. He would say, ‘it’s a personal favor to me.’ Seldom, but sometimes, I would go. It was fine. He came to my office in T.T. [Trump Tower] during the presidential campaign to apologize for the way he was talking about me. Just a conman at work!”

Trump followed up with a reminder that this is all about Baltimore, a beleaguered city that the Democrats have essentially destroyed.
“Baltimore, under the leadership of Elijah Cummings, has the worst Crime Statistics in the Nation. 25 years of all talk, no action! So tired of listening to the same old Bull … Next, Reverend Al will show up to complain & protest. Nothing will get done for the people in need. Sad!” Trump tweeted.

Sharpton replied with a tweet saying, “Trump says I’m a troublemaker & con man. I do make trouble for bigots. If he really thought I was a con man he would want me in his cabinet.”

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), who has represented West Baltimore for decades in Congress, has done little for his constituents or the poverty-stricken neighborhoods that are literally rat infested, yet Democrats are rallying to defend him and the city, framing Trump’s original comments as ‘racist.’
Nonetheless, Trump supporters are standing their ground and defending the president.
President Trump has done more for the black community in two years of being President than Al Sharpton and Elijah Cummings have done in 35 years of exploitation and race baiting

On Sharpton’s MSNBC show on Sunday, he attacked the president, claiming Trump was directing “insult after racist insult” at Cummings and the people of Baltimore. Turning his disdain toward conservatives, he said, “Here we have blatant, raw, racism, and crickets from the Republican party.”
Leftists are obviously continuing to grasp at “racism” straws as their only potential political tactic moving forward. But President Trump is showing conservatives that it’s time to go toe-to-toe against the corruption and deceptiveness that counts as the liberal platform these days.
