ABC’s Sunny Hostin has finally decided: ‘Who cares about Trump voters?’

While it’s no secret that the co-hosts of “The View” are no fans of the president, Sunny Hostin just unloaded a blistering insult to the “foregone” voters who support President Donald Trump.

The legal analyst blasted half the country as she called out Trump supporters who still back the president even “after his racism,” declaring that she didn’t care about them Friday on ABC’s “The View.”

Co-host Meghan McCain spoke about the “clown car” field of 2020 presidential contenders, noting how Democrats are vying for the nomination by trying to “be the most far left.” She argued that, while this may work for primaries, it is a different story going forward to the general election and who will be able to “win over Trump voters.”

“If you’re going to raise your hand and say that all illegal immigrants should have health care when they come into this country, right now it’s who can be the most far left on this stage,” she said.

“Which is great for a primary, it’s great when you’re trying to win over Democrats, but when you get to a general,” she continued, “it’s also who’s going to be able to hedge and win over the Trump voters who voted for Trump after they voted for President Obama.”

Hostin disagreed.

“I don’t think it’s about winning over the Trump voters, actually,” she said, contending that Democrats should focus on eligible voters who did not vote in the 2016 election.

“I actually think if you look at the estimates by the U.S. Elections Project, 43 percent of eligible voters didn’t even bother filling out a ballot in 2016. That means 100 million people who have the legal right to vote just decided it wasn’t worth it,” she added.

“Those 100 million people need to show up, so we need a candidate that are going to energize those people to walk out of their doors and walk to the ballot box and vote,” she added before her ridiculous declaration.

“Who cares about the Trump voters? If you still support this president after his racism, after putting kids in cages, and everything he’s done — you’re not going to change, you’re foregone,” she asserted.

“I don’t care about you. I care about 100 million people,” Hostin added.

But McCain pushed back, citing the importance of swing states.

“There are statistical people in swing states which is where it will matter for those of us who have campaigned many times for places in Ohio and Pennsylvania that are up for there are groups of voters and independents, but don’t underestimate the power of swing states. Hillary Clinton won by 3 million voters, but lost in the Electoral College.”

“The Electoral College is how you win and die in this election cycle,” McCain exclaimed. “You may want to wax poetic about not caring about these people but people in Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, they’re up for grabs and you have to go to VFW halls.”

Co-host Joy Behar surprisingly agreed with McCain, and also House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who has been reluctant to allow her caucus to swing into a full-blown impeachment of Trump.

“It’s too distracting,” Behar said.

“I thought they should impeach him but after the Mueller thing, you know what I say? Put your money in those states that you are talking about, put your efforts over there,” she said.

McCain argued that “you live and die by swing states,” noting Hillary Clinton’s “fatal error” of not going to Wisconsin during the 2016 election campaign.

Hostin interjected that the same people who voted for Obama would now vote for the Democratic candidate.

“Some of those people voted for the pot-smoking guy from New Mexico or Jill Stein and woke up the next morning feeling hungover,” co-host Ana Navarro quipped.

“It hasn’t made a difference. But 80,000 votes in Wisconsin made a difference in the last election,” McCain said.

Twitter users blasted the talk show host with a biting reality check.
