In response to the trash-talking tweets President Donald Trump posted last weekend about the “squad” of radical freshman Democrats, CNN asked its social media followers to contact the network if they want to essentially talk trash about him.
“Are you an immigrant? Have you felt forced to change your behavior, or take new precautions in light of …,” the far-left network wrote in a Facebook post Thursday.
The post then listed Trump’s allegedly “offensive” behavior, including his allegedly “racist remarks,” his “fight to add a citizenship question to the census” and his “threat of ICE raids.”
Those “immigrants” perturbed by the president’s behavior were encouraged to contact the network.

Are you an immigrant? Have you felt forced recently to change your behavior, or take new precautions?
We’d like to hear from you for a story we’re working on.

Except it was obvious to Facebook users who stumbled on the network’s post that it wasn’t trying to reach out to immigrants — it was trying to reach out to illegal aliens.
As a reminder, an immigrant is a foreigner who legally immigrated to the United States. Most immigrants eventually become U.S. citizens. An illegal alien, on the other hand, is a foreigner who’s illegally immigrated here in violation of the law. Most illegals are eventually deported.
“Perhaps CNN could do an actual story on an actual LEGAL immigrant who came to our country looking for a better life, followed the LEGAL process and is now a naturalized American citizen!” one frustrated Facebook user wrote. “But no, let’s support those who break our laws and we’ll glorify it for you.”
This Facebook user, Debra, was among an army of thousands of Americans who posted a comment to CNN’s social media post to let the network know how they felt about its shameless pandering. Included among them were ACTUAL immigrants like Dalio Pecaj.
“As an immigrant he did not at all offend me! It simple, if you’re not happy living in America get the F out!” he wrote in regard to Trump’s trash-talking tweets that CNN has labeled “racist.”
“There are people risking their lives day in and day out crossing oceans, mountains and desserts risking their lives to immigrate here. They will be happy to take anyones place for an opportunity to live in America! CNN you are a clueless media network that is working extremely hard to divide this country.”

What’s amusing is that CNN tried to pull the same stunt on Twitter, but again the network was blasted by an army of patriots — many of them legal immigrants.
“No ‘immigrant’ has to worry about ICE, and wouldn’t think twice about answering a citizenship question,” one Twitter user wrote. “If they did it the legal way, they’d likely be proud to mark that they are. And his comment just simply wasn’t racist.”
Many agreed:
No “immigrant” has to worry about ICE, and wouldn’t think twice about answering a citizenship question. If they did it the legal way, they’d likely be proud to mark that they are. And his comment just simply wasn’t racist.

my family came in 1746 as a servant from Scotland. America has been my home for hundreds of years. The last few years I’m told America is bad and I suck. I’m told bc I’m mixed I should be a Dem. I love my Country and respect her n value her. I’m being told I’m racist for that.

This response isn’t an anomaly. The data shows that an overwhelming number of legal immigrants support the president’s policies and agenda, particularly those legal immigrants of Latino ancestry.
“The growing popularity of President Trump among the country’s 32 million Latino voters — which was 28 percent in 2016 and has risen to nearly 50 percent according to a recent NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist Poll — reflects how strongly many Latinos dislike illegal immigration,” former President Ronald Reagan’s son Michael Reagan noted in a column earlier this year.
It’s no wonder then that Hispanics likewise comprise a 52 percent majority of U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents. This matters because most illegal aliens tend to be of Hispanic origin, and the media enjoys using this fact to falsely accuse the president of being an anti-brown racist.
However, if Trump’s attempts to stop illegal immigration are rooted in racism, why do so many legal Hispanic immigrants support his policies? Are they racist against themselves or something? What about Kiara Cervante, aka the #ICEbae. Does she hate herself? Hmm?
Or maybe, just maybe, is she simply a proud patriot and American who believes in the rule of law and enjoys keeping America safe?
WOW I am in awe. Thank you all for the support! My job is so hectic at this moment but I am grateful. I love protecting my country! ????❤️ And I love my supporters!
