Anti-Semitic Muslim Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib calls President Donald Trump unfit for office every chance she gets, but we’ve never seen him get dragged out of a public event screaming inappropriately.
But according to a video that’s just begun to make the rounds, it appears that her penchant for unseemly behavior is part of a larger pattern that’s been observable since at least 2016.
Case in point:
Months before the 2016 presidential election, a Trump Derangement Syndrome-suffering Tlaib drew the spotlight to herself — keep in mind this happened before she’d become a household name — by hijacking one of the then-GOP presidential nominee’s speeches.
“A group of women staged a protest against Donald Trump inside Detroit’s Cobo Center on Monday, Aug. 8, during the Republican presidential nominee’s address to the Detroit Economic Club,” The Ann Arbor News reported at the time.
“Former State Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who is also a member of Moms Against Trump, spoke out during the speech. Tlaib told Trump that she was disgusted by his cavalier response to receiving an honorary Purple Heart from an elderly veteran.”
Weeks earlier, retired Lt. Col. Louis Dorfman had voluntarily gifted Trump his Purple Heart to let the GOP nominee know how much confidence he had in him.
“I felt he took it in the manner in which I gave it,” he revealed a few days later on Fox News, describing his encounter with the then-GOP nominee as “genuine.”
“I was very proud to give him that medal, not just for myself. This isn’t about me. This is about all the veterans who are carrying the wounds of these wars that we’re in and the past wars.”
Listen to him explain his reasoning on FNC’s “Happening Now“:
But instead of respecting Dorfman’s decision, Tlaib chose to harass Trump at the Aug. 8 protest for having dared to graciously accept the military veteran’s gift.
“He just taught my children that it’s OK to take a Purple Heart from an elderly man who served our country and could have died,” she reportedly said at the Aug. 8 protest. “He just waves it up and down like it was nothing. And to me, that taught my son a terrible lesson.”
She then reportedly began yelling “give back the Purple Heart, you didn’t earn it” at Trump until she was escorted out while skipping like a child and yelling, “You guys are crazy!”
Following this viral encounter, the then-former state representative (she left office at the end of 2014 after losing to incumbent Sen. Virgil Smith Jr. in the 2014 Democrat primary) penned an op-ed for the Detroit Free Press in which she seemed to portray she and her peers as the victims.
“I can’t describe the fear that gripped me when I rose in front of nearly 2,000 professionals at this tony, corporate setting,” she wrote. “I watched as Trump supporters taunted the women who stood before me as they were aggressively and briskly led to the exits.”
“I froze, feeling the anger around me that would make anyone tremble. Yet, I could only think of the unwavering love for my two sons to find the courage to do my own part.”
She didn’t seem fearful in the video up top. Nor did she and her peers seem at all fearful in the video below, which shows them repeatedly interrupting Trump’s speech:
Acting unruly and then lying about it seems like a sign of some sort of mental instability. As does the fact that, even since become a household name, Tlaib has continued to act this way.
Literally only hours after she was sworn into office with Thomas Jefferson’s Quran — and while adorned in a Palestinian gown — back in January the newly minted congresswoman used profanity to call for the president’s impeachment.
“People love you and you win. And when your son looks at you and says, ‘Momma, look you won. Bullies don’t win.’ And I said, ‘Baby, they don’t, because we’re gonna go in there and we’re gonna impeach the motherf–ker,’” she proudly declared to a crowd of supporters.
It’s unclear whether she actually said that to her son. It’s also unclear whether any children were present at the event. What’s known is that the statement was made at a bar.
She did it (acting crazy) again just earlier this month during a press conference held outside an illegal alien detention facility in Clint, Texas. In a twist of irony, Tlaib wound up being heckled while speaking at the presser. Except that, instead of responding to the heckling in the same calm manner that Trump had responded to her heckling back in 2016, she lost her temper.
“I will out-love your hate,” she shrieked with hateful rage. “I will always put my country first, unlike what you all do.”
In reality, she has a track record of putting the interests of illegal aliens over those of the American people.
“And I’ll tell you this, Veronica Escobar is the best goddamn Congress member from this district and you all can say whatever you want,” she railed while pounding her podium. “You all may try to out-scream me, but I will not stop speaking truth to power.”
Escobar is the official House representative for the district in which Clint lies.
These three examples appear to show that, for someone who talks so much trash about the president, Tlaib has plenty of her own emotional issues to work out.
It’s almost as if she’s … well, nuts.
