A Texas lawmaker is accusing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of sedition after she gave illegal immigrants advice on how to avoid ICE.
Rep. Lance Gooden believes “Nancy and the gang” of Democrats are going down a path of no return has seen the reports of impending Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids send liberals into overdrive to get the word out to those who could potentially be affected.

“Suggesting that people break the law in this country is sedition,” the Texas Republican told Fox Business host Stuart Varney Friday on “Varney & Co.”
“And I think we are going down a very difficult path that we… cannot turn back on,” Gooden said. “And what we’re seeing this week is a total pacification of the far left by Speaker Pelosi.”
The Democratic leader used the occasion of her weekly press conference to coach criminal illegal immigrants on how to avoid arrest and deportation.
“An ICE deportation warrant is not the same as a search warrant. If that is the only document ICE brings to a home raid, agents do not have the legal right to enter a home. If ICE agents don’t have a warrant signed by a judge, a person may refuse to open the door and let them in,” Pelosi read from a card at Thursday’s conference.

Gooden noted that the people in his home state of Texas are “outraged” and “fed up” with what they have been seeing at the border, citing recent reports that alleged Democratic Rep. Veronica Escobar of Texas was coaching asylum-seekers by secretly sending her staff into Mexico to help migrants return to the U.S.
Escobar’s staff was reportedly going to Mexico’s northern border town of Ciudad Juárez in secret in order to find migrants who, under the “remain in Mexico” policy, were returned from El Paso.
“That’s illegal, That’s against the law,” Gooden declared Friday on Fox Business.
“The stuff that we’re seeing out of the far left – when we’re saying Nancy Pelosi is the reasonable one at the Democratic caucus, we know that they’ve gone crazy.”
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez joined the liberal hysteria ahead of reported mass raids scheduled to begin Sunday, posting a video from the national “We Have Rights” campaign directing illegal immigrants on how to handle “ICE encounters.”
“No matter who you are or what your status is, this is the United States of America – where ALL people have rights. Know yours,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Thursday, urging undocumented migrants to “prepare.”

“I’m going to be quite outspoken about this,” Varney told Gooden on his show Friday. “I simply cannot imagine that middle America, that American voters accept this invasion, this open borders policy. I simply don’t believe that America accepts that.”
Gooden agreed, adding that Americans are “sick and tired of identity politics.”
