Christine Pelosi, daughter of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, seems to have some inside knowledge of the underage sex trafficking case that has resulted in the arrest of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. On Saturday, the DNC committeewoman tweeted a warning that “It is quite likely that some of our faves are implicated.”

Christine Pelosi is obviously as well-connected politically as it comes. So if she is warning the Democrat faithful that some of their own are going to be in the headlines, it is pretty much a certainty that she is preparing them for bad news.

Epstein was arrested on Saturday in a covert operation at a New Jersey airport on new sex-trafficking charges and conspiracy connected to alleged activity in the early 2000s.

“This Epstein case is horrific and the young women deserve justice,” Pelosi wrote in her weekend tweet. “It is quite likely that some of our faves are implicated but we must follow the facts and let the chips fall where they may – whether on Republicans or Democrats.”

Pelosi followed up her tweet with another, sending kudos for reporter Julie K. Brown of the Miami Herald, who has been pursuing the Epstein story closely and is getting credit for keeping the case alive that involves untold numbers of the rich and powerful …

Epstein is accused of paying underage girls for massages at his Palm Beach, Florida, mansion and in New York City, and sexually assaulting them. Epstein also owns a 72-acre estate notoriously known as “Orgy Island” on the Virgin Islands where he has for years hosted a Who’s Who of wealthy celebrities. Alleged activities that have taken place there are also on the radar of authorities.

Pelosi’s reference to who “some of our faves” that are “quite likely” to be implicated leaves the door wide open for speculation. But Fox News three years ago reported that court records show former President Bill Clinton is known to have taken at least 26 trips aboard Epstein’s private jet known as the “Lolita Express.” In fact, he was reported to have “ditched his Secret Service detail on some of the excursions.”

President Trump is also known to have been an acquaintance of Epstein, though any hope that the left might have of him being implicated is very remote, given an interview with attorney Bradley Edwards, who represented several Epstein victims in the past. In that interview, Edwards praised Trump as being one of the few powerful people who volunteered to help him build his case against the disgraced financier.

“[He] was very helpful, in the information that he gave, and gave no indication whatsoever that he was involved in anything untoward whatsoever, but had good information,” said Edwards.

The President’s attorneys recently denied Epstein and Trump were friends.

Epstein is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, so more information is sure to be forthcoming soon.
