Fla. Trump-supporter paints ‘YUGE’ American flag on lawn; patriotism abounds on Independence Day

A Florida man chose to celebrate this Independence Day holiday by painting a giant American flag on his front lawn in honor of both the country and president whom he loves dear.

Reportedly painted a day before the 4th, the patriotic work of art includes the words “Trump 2020 U.S.A.” and “Dedicated to all the fallen and active Military and Law Enforcement.”

Included in the top-right corner are the words “Thanks to Shelby & Sheldon from Plant City LOWES.”

In response, some rolled their eyes in disdain.

Case in point:

Now, while some might look at the flag and think “that’s dumb” or complain about President Donald Trump being included in the caption, they’re wrong. Here’s why.

Every country on Earth has its own symbols, traditions and history that its people proudly celebrate — and rightly so. But only in a select few Western countries, including the United States, has it seemingly become faux pas for citizens to do as such.

Because of an irrational self-hatred that appears to be seething among certain subsets of the population, even celebrating America’s founding here in the states has become “problematic”  because of the country’s flawed and “oppressive” history.

To be clear, every country has its own fair share of sins. But not every country has overcome its sins and created the type of free and equitable world that exists here in the United States.

Instead of focusing on everything America has accomplished — including the elimination of slavery, the adoption of women’s rights and the recognition that “all Men are created equal” — these subsets of Americans want to forever fester in the pit of historical grievances.

And so to them, loving America is bad; celebrating America is bad; lauding America’s Founding Fathers is bad; and just being an American is by default bad.

“A pox on you, America!” they venomously declare in their hearts.

*LANGUAGE WARNING*

Now enter President Donald Trump, a man who represents the antithesis of the grievance-rooted ideology that former President Barack Hussein introduced to America a decade ago.

Rather than apologizing for America, he celebrates it with pride; rather than kowtowing to America’s enemies, he crushes them in his grip; and rather than putting the rest of the world first, he prioritizes the interests of America and its citizens first and foremost.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why so many of the people who love America with all their hearts, including the lawn painter in Florida, share a similar love for America’s current president.

Unlike Obama and his leftist cohorts, who continue to disrespect, impugn and demonize their country and everything for which it stands, the current president has taken a bold stand and said “NO!”

HERE’S WHAT YOU’RE MISSING …

When disgraced former NFL star Colin Kaepernick began disrespecting the flag, he spoke out. When some Democrats began pushing for America to abandon its capitalist foundation and adopt socialist ways, he said, “America will never be a socialist country.” And when Democrats and their media allies began pushing back on his plan to host a fun, lively, patriotic 4th of July party this year at the Lincoln Memorial, he said to hell with them, he’s going to host the party anyway.

And that — that unrepentant willingness to buck America’s haters and stand up proudly in America’s defense time and time again — is why so many Americans are more enthralled than ever before for this year’s 4th of July festivities.

From painting giant flags on their lawns to mowing an American flag into their lawn (as seen below), Americans are at last unafraid to proudly represent the country they love so dearly.

And love him or hate him, the president is a big reason for this reinspired patriotism.

God bless America, and God bless the president!
