Limbaugh: ‘Little AOC’ and her ‘gaggle of lunatics’ were ‘lying their way through’ detention center tour

Talk radio host Rush Limbaugh wasted little time on Wednesday’s show before addressing Monday’s irresponsible grandstanding by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and “this gaggle of hysterical women” who joined the freshman lawmaker in “lying their way through” a tour of migrant detention centers.

The self-avowed democratic socialist from the Bronx made a wild accusation that women were being told by Border Patrol agents that they must drink out of toilets — the ridiculous claim was quickly debunked.

Ocasio-Cortez also accused agents of sexual harassment and said she “was not safe” being around them, and while she offered no proof to support her farcical claims, a media firestorm ensued and Limbaugh cut to the chase, saying that the 29-year-old former bartender, who he referred to as “little AOC,” was telling “flat-out lies.”

(Critics jumped on the characterization as a smear, though the lawmaker is quick to cite her petite stature when mocking critics for being afraid of her.)

Limbaugh compared Ocasio-Cortez to a shock jock, saying her act is getting old.

“After a while, your gig gets old, your schtick no longer shocks, and so you have to keep crossing new lines,” he explained. “And that’s all she’s doing. She’s addicted to getting noticed.”

“Now she runs down there and starts trashing and lying about conditions at the border,” Limbaugh continued. “And the people who administer the people who come into this country illegally. Flat-out lies that the detainees are being forced to drink out of toilets.”

El Rushbo pointed out that Border Patrol denied the claim.

“The Border Patrol and ICE people are denying this and even this gaggle of lunatics with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez admit they haven’t seen it. There aren’t any witnesses who have actually seen people being forced to drink water out of a toilet,” he said.

Limbaugh then sent liberals reeling with a comment based on what the left is saying about the conditions many of these migrants are fleeing from.

“But my friends, based on what we’re told about the circumstances where these people are fleeing, maybe toilet water is a step up for some of them — based on what the left is telling us their homelands are like.”

The facetious remark being more about criticizing our broken amnesty process than a smear of illegal immigrants.

With all the attention Ocasio-Cortez’s accusations drew, an incident involving Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., losing her composure while engaging with unruly protesters got little media coverage.

Tlaib, one of the first two Muslim women elected to Congress, called President Trump a “motherf–ker” her very first week in office while speaking with supporters.

On Monday, the congresswoman lost it during at a news conference at the Clint, Texas border migrant detention center, screaming at a crowd trying to shout her down.

“I will out-love your hate,” Tlaib screamed. “I will always put my country first, unlike you all do!”

The Democrat was angrily pounding on the podium as she spoke about love.

“And I’ll tell you this, Veronica Escobar is the best goddamn… Congress member from this district and you all can say whatever you want,” she railed, almost incoherent in her rage.
