Talk about easy pickings, Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro had a field day critiquing last week’s Democratic presidential debates candidates, saving some of her harshest observations for Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke.
Hell, she even compared him to Richard Nixon, who has been dead for 25 years.
Pirro opened Saturday’s “Justice with Judge Jeanine” by pointing to a moment in the debate when every Democratic candidate on the stage raised their hand to say that they would provide health care coverage for illegal immigrants, declaring it “finished them.”
“The Democrats’ clown car, overloaded with mayors, governors, senators, socialists, and a spiritual adviser, continued down this bumpy road to nowhere in the second day of debate,” Pirro said. “T’was a sight to behold. Forget about everything you learned about the Constitution, law and order, the rules and playing fair and square. In their eyes the world is an upside down, backward and inside out place.”
The Fox News host went down the line of perceived front-runners, highlighting what they had to offer to the American people.
“[Joe] Biden fell over his clown shoes when he couldn’t distinguish [former President] Obama’s deportation and separation of families and children at the border — just like Trump — other than to say Obama did a heck of a job,” she noted.
Pirro then set her sights on Sen. Bernie Sanders, who claimed his own words about government making the decisions on gun control was a mis-characterization of his thinking.
“Get that? A mis-characterization of his thinking!” she exclaimed.
“And [Sen.] Elizabeth Warren wants to kick millions of Americans off private health insurance,” Pirro said. “She won’t even lie and tell you you can keep it.”
Poor ol’ Beto, who was roundly seen as the one clear loser over the two nights, was next.
Mocking several Democratic candidates for speaking Spanish, an effort initiated by O’Rourke, Pirro reminded them “this is an English-speaking nation and pandering to Spanish-speaking immigrants is over the top.”
“Even [Sen.] Corey Booker was turned off by Beto O’rourke’s not too smooth attempt to pander to illegals,” she said.
“Beto wants illegals to start voting right away also,” she added. “And speaking of Beto, I couldn’t help but think of Richard Nixon — this guy needs a new makeup artist so he at least appears close to the living.”
The debate was so bizarre that it compelled Pirro to agree with the assessment by the Bronx dimwit, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.
“That genius Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said they all looked like high school student who didn’t do their homework, and I agree,” she said.
“But in the end, nobody of that matters. Just hold on to your pocketbooks. They just put a lien on your savings, your money and retirement,” she continued. “Everything changed when everyone at that stage raised their hands saying all illegals should be given healthcare.”
Not that they aren’t already, she noted as she played a clip of the infamous “You lie!” moment when Obama said their health care reforms would not apply to those who are here illegally.
Displaying the New York Post cover seen above, Pirro said, “But this is the picture that caused the clowns to lose their way and the American people.”
With Democrats wanting to provide free health care to illegal immigrants, Pirro went on to note that Americans are “left out in the cold. Where they literally have nowhere to turn.”
“Middle income Americans who every day choose between food and medication don’t want to hear about people coming here illegally without a dime in their pockets being rewarded with healthcare that they have not even paid for,” she said.
All of which gives her confidence that President Trump will prevail in 2020.
“Not only is Trump still in his Lamborghini,” she concluded, “All those in the clown car are in his rear view mirror.”
