‘That’s the end of the race!’ Dems gift Trump when entire debate stage endorses healthcare for illegal immigrants

If Democrats decriminalize illegal immigration AND offer health care to those who enter the country illegally, as seen in the first round of debates, the real question may be who will be the last one to turn out the lights in Central America as millions more trek north.

One thing is certain, President Donald knows a losing campaign issue when he sees it.

“That’s the end of that race!” the president declared on social media.

Trump, who is in Osaka, Japan for trade talks at the G20 Summit, was doing a little multitasking by paying attention to Thursday’s Democratic debate and he jumped on an issue that plays right into his theme of “America First.”

“All Democrats just raised their hands for giving millions of illegal aliens unlimited healthcare. How about taking care of American Citizens first!? That’s the end of that race!” the president tweeted.

MSNBC debate co-moderator Savannah Guthrie asked the candidates Thursday night to raise their hand if their healthcare plan would cover illegal immigrants — she used the progressive code word “undocumented.”

“This is a show of hands question and hold them up so people can see,” she said. “Raise your hand if your government plan would provide coverage for undocumented immigrants.”

The lemmings in the room cheered enthusiastically in response to a unanimous show of hands.

The president was in between meetings when he saw Democrats agree to give illegal immigrants government-provided health care, according to Bloomberg reporter Alex Wayne.

“I just passed a television set on the way here,” Trump told reporters in Japan. “I saw that healthcare and maximum healthcare was given to 100% of the illegal immigrants coming into our country by the Democrats. And unfortunately, they didn’t discuss what they’re giving to American citizens. That’s not a good thing.”

For the record, those with their hands raised include former Vice President Joe Biden, the front-running being forced further and further left by the progressive faction in the party, Sens. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., Kamala Harris, D-Calif., and Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., as well as former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, author Marianne Williamson and tech entrepreneur Andrew Yang.

Buttigieg tried to downplay the fact that Democrats want U.S. taxpayers to provide health care to foreign nationals in the country illegally by saying they do pay sales taxes.

“Our country is healthier when everybody is healthier,” he said. “And remember, we are talking about something, people are given a chance to buy into. In the same way there are undocumented immigrants in my community, who pay. They pay sales taxes. They pay property taxes directly or indirectly. This is not about a handout. This is an insurance program.”

If that wasn’t enough pandering for you, he went on to advocate for amnesty for the 10-12 million illegal immigrants currently in the U.S.

Biden would later add, “You have to it’s a humane thing to do.”

Meanwhile, “Crazy” Bernie responded to Trump’s tweet to own it entirely: “When I say Medicare for All, I mean ALL.”

And to be clear, as the Republican National Committee was quick to note, that would be taxpayer funded healthcare since Democrats want government plans.

“Let this sink in. Every single Democrat on stage thinks American taxpayers should foot the bill for illegal immigrants to have healthcare,” the RNC Twitter account said.

Here’s a sampling of other responses from Twitter, including the New York Post that ran it as its Friday cover saying, ‘Who wants to lose the election?’:
