The second Democrat presidential primary debate was such a hot mess that even former Republican turned anti-Trump zealot Joe Scarborough of MSNBC described it as a “clown show.”
“With apologies to our friends and watching, last night was a disaster for the Democratic Party,” he began early Friday morning on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” as his wife, far-left political commentator Mika Brzezinski, looked on with an expression of pure sorrow on her face.
Listen to the relevant portion of his rant below:
“My only hope is people were not watching and I will tell you why. First on policy — let’s talk about the goal which every Democrat believes, which is we have to beat Donald Trump. Right? So they’re lined up in trench warfare, ready to get out of the trenches and charge and fight Donald Trump. Instead, they all turn their guns on each other and shoot each other.”
True. Everybody relentlessly attacked one another.
“And everybody is yelling at each other all night,” Scarborough continued. “Everybody, like if you were watching, if you’re an American and this is your introduction to these candidates and the Democratic Party, and all you see are 12 people yelling at each other, trying to interrupt each other and insulting each other, you’re like, ‘You know what? I thought Donald Trump was a clown show. I’m changing the channel.'”
And of course, he had to throw an anti-Trump diss into his rant.
Continuing his diatribe, he then took aim at all 10 candidates for their radicalism regarding illegal immigration. When asked during the debate to raise their hand if their proposed healthcare plan would provide healthcare coverage to illegal aliens, everybody raised their hand.
“It is a position of every Democrat on that stage that illegal immigrants, if they cross the border illegally, should get healthcare for life,” Scarborough said in disbelief Friday morning. “It is then the position of every Democrat on that stage, that if they cross the border illegally, it’s not even illegal anymore.”
“Now, that may make Democrats feel really good about themselves, right? But that loses Wisconsin, that loses Pennsylvania. That loses Florida. That loses North Carolina. It may lose Virginia.”
In reality, embracing illegal immigration could cost the Democrats far more states than just those, given as two-thirds of voters believe illegal immigration is a serious issue, and nearly half worry that the government isn’t doing enough to stop it, according to Rasmussen Reports.
“And what these candidates — many of them new to the process, need to understand is, that we as a nation were shocked by the picture we saw a few days ago,” he continued, referencing the photo of dead illegal aliens that the hypocritical media have been using to smear the Trump administration.
“But there is a vast middle ground between Donald Trump’s immigration policies and the free-for-all immigration policies that were pushed last night.”
Listen to the rest of his rant below:
What he said about the Democrats “free-for-all immigration policies” was half-correct. President Donald Trump has proposed and/or implemented immigration policies that are tough but also arguably sensible and defensible. The Democrats’ proposals, on the other hand, have centered of essentially transforming America into an open-borders nation.
Yet a Harvis-Harris poll conducted last year found that an overwhelming 79 percent majority of Americans would rather have an immigration system based on “secure borders,” not “open borders.”

The MSNBC host concluded his rant by taking direct shots at former Vice President Joe Biden, whom he said was “off his game,” and Sen. Kamala Harris, who spent much of the debate attacking Biden.
“I’ve got to say also, front-runner Joe Biden, man, he was off his game,” Scarborough said. “I must say, won’t make friends here. It was one of the more disturbing debate performances I have seen since Ronald Reagan’s first debate in 1984. It was one of those moments where you’re going, my God, is he going to complete his sentence?”
And in this instances when Biden did complete his sentences, he completed them with nonsensical remarks that literally made no sense.
As for Harris, the host’s issue with her concerned her attacks on Biden for his past opposition to so-called integrated busing. It was and still is a controversial Democrat policy that calls for busing minority students to schools outside of their local district so as to promote more so-called “diversity.”
“[I]s there really a Democrat today, in 2020, that wants to say I support busing?” Scarborough asked rhetorically on MSNBC. “Is there a Democrat today who wants to say, even in ‘74, I would have supported busing when the overwhelming majority of Americans oppose busing?”
Well, given that even candidate on stage expressed support for illegal immigration despite polls showing a majority of Americans in opposition to such policies, the answer to the host’s question isn’t necessarily a “no” …
Like the classic saying goes, once a clown show, ALWAYS a clown show. And the Democrat Party has been, continues to be and will likely forever indeed be a clown show.
Clown show ?

Guess what folks. You know that great new job you got because of the Trump tax cuts? You can kiss that goodbye if a Democrat is elected. They are promising to repeal the tax cuts.
This is a clown show.

The #DemDebate shows you two things on healthcare:
1- Obamacare was a total failure, even Democrats know that.
2- The goal of the left is to take away your choices and force you into socialized medicine.
