Bette Midler & Cher compete for wildest Trump-angst tweets: We’re going with poem about who he humps

Cher and Bette Midler have never been President Donald Trump’s most stable critics, but they are proving nearly every single day that they are head and shoulders above other Hollywood liberals when it comes to Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Midler’s latest attack on Trump came in the form of a truly bizarre poem that imagined the president starting World War III while tweeting from the bathroom. It’s utter nonsense. Check it out below:

Midler has over 1.6 million followers and she has helped headline hit films like “Hocus Pocus” and this sad poem is the best she can come up with? It says far more about her than the president.

Cher also took to her Twitter account recently to insanely ramble about the president. In a tweet that spread conspiracy theories about how illegal immigrants are treated while in custody, the musician said she wished Trump was “locked in a hot cage with dirty water.”

“Our President At Work. Saw Video Of Baby In Custody. Theres Breakout of Chickenpox, Measles, Children Live outdoors in Texas heat, Bad food, Dirty Water, unsanitary Conditions, Physical, Emotional, Sexual Abuse. Trumps a psychotic A**. Wish He Was Locked In Hot Cage, With Dirty Water,” she wrote.

Cher also posted screenshots of stories detailing the conditions of detention centers that hold illegal immigrants, detention centers that would not need to be built if people did not race across the border next to dangerous criminals.

Cher’s tweet misses a ton of context. Many of the people coming across the border come with children that are not their own and many people detained bring diseases because they have not been properly vaccinated. Because Congress refuses to do anything when it comes to border security, it leaves ICE to pick up the pieces and do the best they can with a situation that House Dems refuse to help solve.

While Cher hasn’t been able to inspire much of a reaction from the president with her attacks, actress and singer Midler has been caught in a bit of a battle of words with Trump in the last few weeks. A constant critic of the president on Twitter, Midler recently shared a fake quote by Trump where he said he was essentially running as a Republican because Republican voters are easy to dupe. The quote went viral during the 2016 presidential election, but it was quickly debunked then and a simple Google search is all you need to find that out now.

Midler must not know how Google works because she posted the fake quote years after it was proven false. She later apologized for spreading fake news about the president, though she continued to criticize him and even essentially blamed him for her mistake.

The fake quote itself reads: “If I were to run, I’d run as a Republican. They’re the dumbest group of voters in the country. They believe anything on Fox News. I could lie and they’d still eat it up. I bet my numbers would be terrific.”

Midler later tweeted about the mistake, “I apologize; this quote turns out to be a fake from way back in ‘15-16. Don’t know how I missed it, but it sounds SO much like him that I believed it was true!”

Trump responded by calling the Midler a “washed up psycho.”

“Washed up psycho @BetteMidler was forced to apologize for a statement she attributed to me that turned out to be totally fabricated by her in order to make “your great president” look really bad. She got caught, just like the Fake News Media gets caught. A sick scammer!” the president tweeted.
