CNN reporter Jim Acosta attacks President Donald Trump around the clock as a White House correspondent, but he’s more than happy to profit from it.

In a tone-deaf Twitter post, Acosta gleefully tweeted photos of himself at a book signing in Arlington, Virginia.

The title of Acosta’s book — “The Enemy of the People — was stolen directly from President Trump, who slammed the fake news media as the “enemy of the people” for spreading lies meant to gaslight them.

Jim Acosta shills his book in sad, empty store

To be clear, President Trump never called the media the “enemy of the people.” That moniker was directed at the fake-news shills who intentionally promote false narratives.

If you’re a member of the media and you take offense to Trump calling fake news “the enemy of the people,” then you just outed yourself as a lying hack.

What’s hilarious is that Acosta was autographing a huge pile of his books in what appeared to be an empty book store. Notably, there were no fans clamoring around him, eager to meet him.

Not surprisingly, Twitter had some hilarious responses to Acosta’s self-promoting tweet.

Singer Mindy Robinson tweeted: “Wow! The crowds!! Did you need security?”

Another joked: “Haha! Who even knew he wrote a book.”

Someone replied: “It’s a short story, lol!”

Still another penned Acosta’s imaginary diary entry for that night:

“Dear diary, I’m here by myself, and nobody else showed up. ~Jim~

Not surprisingly, this wasn’t Acosta’s first go-round with disastrous optics.

Acosta: Trump is ‘crazy like a fox’

Like everyone else at CNN, Jim Acosta has personally profited from the Trump presidency. CNN executives have admitted that covering President Trump around the clock bolstered the left-wing cable network’s meager ratings.

Earlier this week, Acosta admitted that CNN is obsessed with Trump. He also begrudgingly conceded that Trump is “crazy like a fox” and is basically controlling the press like puppets because of their pathological obsession with him.

Trump: I have to fight back against media lies

President Trump says the reason why he tweets is because if he stays silent in the face of false narratives, the public will be brainwashed into believing the media’s nonstop lies.

Trump tweeted: “I know it is not at all “Presidential” to hit back at the Corrupt Media, or people who work for the Corrupt Media, when they make false statements about me or the Trump Administration. Problem is, if you don’t hit back, people believe the Fake News is true. So we’ll hit back!”

CNN producer in 2017: We push Russia hoax for ratings

As BizPac Review reported, a CNN producer admitted in 2017 that the network was rabidly pushing the Russia collusion hoax around-the-clock because it was good for ratings.

Veteran CNN producer John Bonifield made the shocking revelations to James O’Keefe’s in a stunning Project Veritas video.

Bonifield  —who has worked at CNN for more than 15 years — said the network’s anti-Trump CEO, Jeff Zucker, has been relentlessly pushing the failed Russia collusion narrative for ratings even though there’s no proof.

“Our ratings are incredible right now!” Bonifield said. “Trump is good for business…[CNN’s] gotta do what they gotta to make their money.”

CNN’s ratings lag far behind those of its cable news rivals Fox News and MSNBC. CNN struggles to get even a million viewers a night for its marquee prime-time star, Anderson Cooper.

John Bonifield said President Trump was correct to call CNN’s pursuit of the Trump-Russia hoax a “witch hunt.” Moreover, he said that everyone at CNN knows it, but was forced to push the fake news story under pressure from CEO Jeff Zucker.

Besides, John Bonifield said if there had been any real evidence to support the Trump-Russia hoax, it would have been leaked.

“I haven’t seen any good evidence to show the president committed a crime,” he said in 2017, adding:

“It’s mostly bullsh*t right now. Like, we don’t have any giant proof. So I think the president is probably right to say, ‘Look you are witch hunting me. You have no smoking gun. You have no real proof.”
