President Trump torched media monopoly Comcast and left-wing cable news networks MSNBC and CNN for pushing fake news about his UK visit and the trade standoff with Mexico (which he won).
Trump tweeted yesterday: “Watched MSNBC this morning just to see what the opposition was saying about events of the past week. Such lies, almost everything they were saying was the opposite of the truth. Fake News! No wonder their ratings, along with CNN, are WAY DOWN. The hatred Comcast has is amazing!”

Trump: I have to fight back or the public will believe the fake news
Hours later, the president explained that he has to call out the fake news shills even if it’s not “presidential” because if he doesn’t respond, the public will be brainwashed into believing the corrupt media’s nonstop lies.
Trump tweeted: “I know it is not at all “Presidential” to hit back at the Corrupt Media, or people who work for the Corrupt Media, when they make false statements about me or the Trump Administration. Problem is, if you don’t hit back, people believe the Fake News is true. So we’ll hit back!”

Pro-Trump attorney: I will teach the lying media a lesson
If anyone understands the importance of fighting back against fake news, it’s super-lawyer L. Lin Wood, who filed a $275 million lawsuit against NBC and MSNBC for defaming his teenage client, Nick Sandmann.
Wood also slapped the fake-news shills at CNN with a $250 million defamation lawsuit.
As BizPac Review reported, Wood said that while his immediate goal is to get justice for Nick, his other aim is to put the media on notice that they will not get away with maliciously lying about people.
“Hopefully…a lesson will finally be learned...We will be relentless in our pursuit of justice.”

Comcast under fire for monopolistic practices
President Trump previously slammed Comcast after a group of cable providers asked the Department of Justice to investigate Comcast (which is effectively a monopoly) over antitrust concerns. The situation got even worse following Comcast’s 2011 mega-merger with NBC.
In November 2018, Trump tweeted: “American Cable Association has big problems with Comcast. They say that Comcast routinely violates Antitrust Laws.”
Meanwhile, a Google search of Comcast memes shows the public’s distrust and disdain for the monopoly and its horrendous customer service.
Trump’s UK visit was successful but media focused on protesters
President Trump’s Twitter smackdown of Comcast, CNN, and MNSBC came after a very busy week, when he visited the United Kingdom to celebrate the longstanding friendship between the United States and the U.K.
The visit was successful, as Trump hit it off with Queen Elizabeth and cemented the countries’ enduring alliance.
But the media only focused on negative news, such as the smattering of protesters. Who cares if unemployed, paid shills come out to protest? Every world leaders attracts protesters. Deal with it.
The state visit was not about Donald Trump. And it was definitely not about the media’s leftist agenda. It was about the lasting alliance between two of the most powerful countries in the world.
The alliance supersedes any one individual. But of course, the media — which are far more obsessed with President Trump than even his most ardent supporters — made Trump’s UK visit all about attacking him.

Media is humiliated again after Mexico caves amid tariff threats
This week, the media also got egg on their faces when Mexico caved at the last-minute and pledged to stem the tsunami of illegal immigrants stampeding toward the United States.
Mexico was responding to President Trump’s threats to impose tariffs if Mexico didn’t step up and do something to stop the mass migrant caravans. To the media’s chagrin, Trump’s tariff gambit worked.
